Saturn and Uranus continued part 2 |

I had a hard time not thinking about these two last night. I still doubt I'll actually write a story about them, but I want to put the ideas down. (I guess one could say I'm pretty intuitive when I'm creating my characters? I just think and I imagine what might make sense...)
Personality wise, what I imagine so far about these two is that their personalities are seemingly the complete reverse of what they had as children.
Where Saturn was meek, shy, and lived his life in shadow as a child, he resides in the present as a seemingly confident but actually very narcissistic, slightly ego-centric, vain young man who does not mind relying on his relatively good looks to get by as he needs.
Although he sees little need to use his mind, he's not stupid. He's pretty intelligent, actually-it carried over from his childhood leanings-but he prefers to think only when he finds it necessary. XD
And yeah, the guy gets laid. Often. He's tall, good-looking, and he plays an instrument in a band. He GETS ladies.. XD .... But he uses condoms. Safety first... XD
Saturn: "Dude, I'm not trying to give myself AIDS. =__='"
Me: "Smart man. =3"
Saturn: "You know how much that would cut my potential to get laid? ********! D<"
Me: "..... Smart.... man... T___T; *sigh* DX"
A side effect of being willing to use his looks to get by and realizing this of himself has taken the form of his near complete lack of self-respect: he admired Uranus for having self-respect in the past, and he will realize she still has it in the present.
(Because of her awful form of dress, Saturn decides to be a d**k and say he'll let her sing for the band if she sleeps with him. Figuring he had to be joking, she agrees, but when things start SERIOUSLY heading in that direction later on, she stops it, saying, "I can't do this, man I'm a virgin. >_<; DX" Him: "O.O You shitting me?" Her: ">_<; *shakes her head* Dude, no! WTF?! D< And you're not?" she mocks him. With a blank and innocent expression, he replied with a hollow tone. "Nuh uh. Not since, like... ten years ago?" Her: "O_O DUDE, YOU WERE FIFTEEN TEN YEARS AGO!" Him: "Oh! Then eleven! ^_^" Her: "T___T;" Him: "Life's been good to me, what can I say?" Her: "God, you're such a slut... D<" Him: "You're the one who wanted to! D<" Her: "What?! No, you were joking! Or I thought you were... I was joking! D<" Him: "Well, I wasn't! D<" Her: "Hey, Captain Obvious?! I FIGURED IT OUT! D<"
.... Why does this argument entertain me so much... XD Pretty sure he's going to keep asking her throughout the story if she's really a twenty-six year old virgin. XD
And on her twenty-seventh birthday: "yet another year without sex. I pity you. T__T The offer's still good, by the way." Her: "Just go ******** yourseld. -_-" "Still open, sweetheart." XD
As for Uranus, what started out as a truly confident and fairly happy child with a poorly-expressed crush on a boy one year younger than herself grew into a woman with very little sense of femininity, and a lot of inner shame because of that. She'd never had an interest in dressing up even as a child. It was her mother that chose the clothes. When her mother divorced her father and left the two to each other, the girl was left to clothe, feed, and generally take care of herself. Although she could be perceived as acting like she has no confidence due to her inability to dress herself like a girl and wear a feminine hairstyle without it looking terribly awkward, she has a great deal of self-respect: something Saturn actually managed to lose in the years that he and Uranus lost touch with each other.
Her confidence lies underneath the surface, waiting to start again, pick up where it left off... and when it does? She will shine. =3
