If you aren't already using Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy, why not? For anyone who wears eyeshadow, high end or drugstore, you need this product.
Pixie Epoxy is essentially an eyeshadow glue. You can use it alone or in addition to a primer or base, which is what I usually do. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it. If you use too much your eyeshadow will gum up and look gross. If you let it dry too much it won't function as it should. If it's too wet it will make blending impossible. If the application is uneven your eyeshadow will look patchy. Don't let this scare you, PE is really easy to use. It comes in a lip gloss tube with a doe foot applicator. Pull the wand out and take a tiny dab with your finger and pat it all over your eyelid from eye brow to lash line. Wait 30- 45 seconds until it feels tacky to the touch and then pat, don't rub your eyeshadow on. PE will make your eyeshadow look more brilliant, vibrant, sparkly- like foiling but less mess.
Some people complain PE makes it too hard to blend. Personally I have never had any trouble blending any shadows over it. Just remember to pat and not to rub until the PE is dry.
PE may not work so well for matte shadows. They may appear darker and not stick as well. PE is designed to work best with super complex shadows, like the ones Fyrinnae makes. However, in the matte shadow swatch I'm about to show you I think PE provides the most true to color swatch.
SWATCHES
Bali Mynah is a super vibrant turquoise, shimmery but not glittery
Big Neon Glitter is a slightly sheer, extremely glittery neon yellow
Faerie Glamour is a complex duochrome purple, these swatches do it no justice
This silver color is very metallic and tricky to blend
Jail Bait is a bright light pink, shimmery but not glittery
Live Large is a glittery neon magenta
Purple Rain is a vibrant purple, shimmery with out glitter
Teenage Kicks is a matte hot pink
In the photos the Pixie Epoxy and Too Faced Shadow Insurance swatches all look pretty similar... but in person the PE swatches were far more brilliant. You'll just have to take my word for it.
For the matte shadow TFSI darkened it more so than the PE. The TFSI was easier to blend than PE, but not by much. The paint pot was the easiest to blend over but yielded the most patchy result. The shadow stick was the worst to blend over and gave the worst result of all the bases.
With the duochrome shadow, TFSI made it dark and muddy. Not good at all. Faerie Glamour is useless with out PE.
When it comes to fall out, with PE there wasn't any. Bare skin had a ton, with most of the shadows about 90% of it blew off when i moved my arm. Only the Hi-Fi and HiP shadows gave a decent color pay off and usable application on bare skin.
The Too Faced Shadow Insurance swatches were the most difficult to remove. I had to scrub them off. PE swatches wiped off easily with out requiring any scrubbing. My inner arm was sore from scrubbing off all the swatches, imagine how delicate eye skin would feel! Now- don't think that means PE won't hold your shadow in place all day long, it most certainly will. It keeps my shadows brilliant and vibrant all day even through the rain and high pressure water sprays from the aquariums at work. No creasing, no rubbing off, practically water proof and yet it still cleans off with ease! Like I said, YOU NEED THIS!
So, what are you waiting for? Go out and get some and take the PE challenge! Put your favorite shadows to the test.

Fyrinnae has not compensated me in any way for this post. Every bottle of PE I have used I have bought myself. This is a product I personally love and can not live with out, all of the above is my opinion only.
