This will be my first journal entry ever on Gaia... So I guess I should at least make it interesting...
Well, to whoever may or may not read this, this week has been most excellent. I'm past my writer's block, Halo Reach comes out in 3 days for me, and I'm just feeling generally happy!
Hm... Oh! I know a way to make these all a little more interesting! I could write a little tid bit of a story in the bottom. I may not think to much of my stories, but people seem to like it when I post them... So... Here's the first Journal Story!
-----------------------
"Tox... Tox, please listen to me...!"
Toxic looked over her shoulder at her friend, her lover, her Cure. Cynthia, still dressed in the ball gown that seemed to be sewn of silken spider webs and the very stars themselves, stood behind her, out of breath, short hair a mess. "Why should I? I saw what you did in that ball room. I saw the look of content, of pleasure on your face when you kissed her. Last I checked, I was always getting on your nerves."
Cynthia stopped panting and looked down, biting her lip hard. "Tox... You know I didn-"
"Shut up, Sin...," She sighed and turned around. "Look, I need a little alone time... In the mean time, go home, play some games, read a book, anything... But when I get home, you better have a damn good reason why you kissed my Sister's Cure in there."
There was a heavy silence between the two women, neither one making a sound, but for two totally different reasons. For Cynthia, she was afraid that Tox would hit her if she so much as breathed, or at least screamed at her. Tox's reason was much simpler; She was afraid the next words to come out her mouth would be something she could never take back. Then Cynthia just nodded. "O-okay..."
Toxic looked at her love again and resisted the urge to lift her chin up and make her stare into her surely blazing eyes. But instead, she turned to walk away.
"Tox!" Cynthia said just loud enough to be a shout as she threw her self against Toxic's back and held tight, hugging her from behind as if it were the last time she'd ever see her again. "I'm... I love you. I love you so much it's killing me to know that I hurt you in such a way... But you have every right to be angry... And every right to be alone right now... J-just please don't hate me..."
She started crying against the soft material of Toxic's t-shirt, dampening the material. For a moment, Toxic just stood there, half in shock, and half wondering how to respond... "Sin...," She placed her hand gently over her young lover's. "I could never, ever hate you. I love you more then my own life... And no matter what you do, no matter how long it takes me, I will find a way to forgive you for any thing... and I hope you can do the same."
Cynthia's crying stopped halfway through Tox's speech... And Toxic could almost feel her soft, warm smile through her shirt. "Thanks Tox..." She release her grip and ran off towards the home the two shared. And with a smile of her own, Tox walked the other direction, a purpose in her stride.
