Okay, I'm going to have to say that my time in Honors English II was one of the bestest moments in my entire life!
Ms. C is one of the bestest teachers ever and she always comes up with fun assignments for us!
But!
What also made that class so awesome were my classmates.
Such as the boys for instance along with the addition of two girls, Amber and Sammy!
The boys such as Jordan, C.T, Rylan, Chilcutt, Juan, Devon...well.....those six boys were the clowns of the class.
We also got constant 'fights' going between best friends Amber and Sammy with their endless insults towards each other which were hilarious!
The boys would always have such weird but hilarious conversations, and of course, with Chilcutt and his freaking dirty a s s mind.
Oh! I remember one time when Amber had to go to the bathroom and Ms. C had her sing a couple of songs in front of the whole class.
She sang the Pokemon Theme song with Chilcutt acting as a Charmander and she also sang that Barbie song with Jordan singing the background vocals which was freaking hilarious!
And of course, we laughed our asses off with Rylan presenting his Cheesecake essay that he wrote during his freshman year.
I mean, to a little kid, it would mean nothing but describing Rylan’s ‘felt’ about a cheesecake but when you have a ‘dirty’ mind, it would be one of the bestest essays ever written! Hell, even Ms. C got it and she also was laughing.
He should get that published!
Oh Oh Oh!!!
One time when we had a lock down, Ms. C had every one of us stand against the wall around the room and she gave us a ball and we toss it around to each other…so it was kind of like a silent activity.
I remember that when I have the ball, I threw it and it hit the wall with a loud bang.
The boys also would dive for the ball when it went out of everybody’s range. That was the best lock down I ever had!
Sure assignments can be boring and nothing special, but everybody in the class had fun with our Macbeth Unit.
We began to read the story of Macbeth, which was one of the four tragedies of Shakespeare.
Ms. C gave us characters to play as..so..kind of like role playing.
Hmm….let’s see if I remember who everyone was…
C.T = Macbeth
Devon = Malcolm
Chilcutt = Macduff
Jordan = King Duncan
Rich = Lady Macbeth
Sammy = Hecate
Amber…and two other girls = Three Witches
Colton = (Drunken) Porter
Gabby = Murder #3
Well…I can’t really remember all of their names and who played who but it was fun!
Especially with Rich as Lady Macbeth! Everyone had him speak in a girl’s voice and it was hilarious!....until he got tired of it and Amber took over for him.
It was a lot more amusing than it should have because besides Rich being a girl, Chilcutt and Devon spoke in Scottish accents when they read their part.
But what got the entire class laughing was with the (Drunken) Porter….did I mention that the Porter was drunk?
Well…if you know Colton, then you know how his voice sounds….
The Porter was being…weird and disgusting and Colton read that entire disgusting paragraph with his usual voice with a straight face which was soooooooooo hilarious!
I couldn’t stop laughing.
After we were done reading the story, we went on to watching a movie of it…though it was old.
When Ms. C mentioned that there was some nudity in it, the guys got all excited and were ‘turned on’.
But…when it got to the nudity, the guys got ‘turned off’ …..because instead of a hot babe being naked…..they got disgusting old witches all cuddled up together in their cave…naked…which was purely disgusting!
But, the part that EVERYONE liked was when Macduff slashed Macbeth’s head off and we had Ms. C rewind that part! It was awesome!
After reading the story and watching the play, we had one more thing to do:
Ms. C arranged us in groups and each group was given a part in the story to perform.
I remember one group had the part of King Duncan’s death and they were going to perform it for us.
But they edited the way Kind Duncan died.
Instead of Macbeth killing Duncan in his sleep, they had a ‘showdown’.
Macbeth(C.T) would walk into Duncan’s(Avalon) room and Duncan would just wake up and those two would have a short fight and then Macbeth kills Duncan.
What was hilarious about it was that Avalon’s taller than C.T so when she did a kick, she would accidently hit him in the face!
I remember that during one of their rehearsals, Chilcutt pretended to be Duncan for fun and he and C.T fought and it was awesome!
My group didn’t do anything much. I don’t remember what part we got but we drew pictures…well…I colored! XD
We agreed to do a ‘picture book’ and the people in my group wanted me and Bri to do it since we’re better drawers than them (Well..Bri is waaaaaaaaay better) but the two of us were lazy and we were running out of time.
So , we resulted in to drawing stick figures!
Each of us got a piece of blank paper and we started drawing and afterwards, we did some quick coloring!
Oh and, as for our tests and all that we got ever Friday….everyone cheated at least once.
Why? Because when we get one hundred percents, we were given candy!!
I would never ever regret those moments I had in that class.
But now, I’m most definitely looking forward to my English class this year because I know the teacher teaching that class and he’s freaking awesome!
