Quite by chance, I wound up running across something called "Seven Extraordinary Things" by Doug Lefler. It's... a fledgling project at the moment, but it clearly has a long way to go yet. It's managed to catch my interest. It's early in it's fourth chapter right now, but it was an entertaining read: the art very vaguely reminded me of a comic I read well over a year ago called "Pictures of You." Their only real similarity is that it seems the majority of this story is taking place in a college setting, the way Pictures of You did, with their second being that the story is the account of a single male character who is looking back on his past. That's three, actually... There's a minor fourth... the coloring is in black and white. XD Then there's the fact that both males are upset about some things that happened in their past that lead up to their present unhappiness. Okay, there are quite a few similarities! >_< It doesn't change the fact that there are some specific differences: in this story, the main character talks about his experiences in Art school. In POY, the character spoke of his adventures in an average college and college town while joining a band and battling his Logic professor. XD There's also the fact that while POY gave one the impression that it ended far too prematurely, 7XT is only just beginning.
(Screw that: Pictures of You ended WAY too early! It explains NOTHING of what the main character was feeling angst over! D< )
