Sam walked out.
"Calm down! It's just me!" said Sam. Everybody stopped.
Mary apparently had a special way of contacting her sister.
Mary said "We have 3 days!"
Oh, great. 3 days and who knows what will happen to us. Or to Lilith/Mary, for that matter. After a while of running we came across a pond.
"I need to get a drink and cool off," said Sam. We let him go. After he got into the water, we all sat down on a mossy log and talked about our plan. Then Lilith suddenly turned her head so fast that if she was a human she probably would have gotten whiplash. Then she stood up and screamed, "Sam!!" Everyone turned their heads. Sam was about to get on a beautiful white horse. It was shimmering in the sun. It looked like a unicorn, but without a horn. All of us ran to the edge of the water. Robert swore and said,"That's a kelpie. They enchant people and drown them!"
I sighed. "I'll go get him." And I jumped in the water. It was warm against my skin. I opened my eyes and saw the kelpie. Sam looked really.....hypnotized. I swam toward him. Uh oh, it saw me. Then it stared at me. I guess it was trying to enchant me, but nothing happened. I needed to save Sam, so I acted like I was enchanted and swam closer to the kelpie and got on its back. The kelpie swam for a while. I hoped Sam could breath. Or he could hold his breath for a loooong time. My long hair was flying all over the place in the water. Finally, the kelpie kicked a piece of coral with its hoof and this rock moved and it went inside. When the rock went back and closed the hole, the water drained from the room we were in. Then a door opened and there was a little cave. We were never going to get out of here!!
