I was burning. The burning spread. And then my other arm hurt a lot too. Maybe Mary got a chance to swipe at me or something. I tried to open my eyes but the light blinded me. I tried again and slowly my vision focused. I was burning way more than I was before. I grimaced. Sam ran over to me.
"Taylor! Oh Taylor what's wrong?" he asked.
Could I answer him without screaming? I opened my mouth but nothing came out. So I just shook my head.
"Nothing," I whispered and I shut my mouth before any screams could come out. The pain was way worse than it had been before. Now I knew how Lilith felt when she was burning. The blackness engulfed me again and I gasped.
