The next few months were a blur:
I got my splint off, at last. I hated the thing. Adin came back, finally. I told him that Lilith left. He wanted me back. He was lonely. But I said no. Then he took me away to France. He said he wanted to show me something he found there. I had no idea what it was. I wondered if I should even trust him, considering he left everybody without notice and all. This was scary. Then I had the worst thought: what if he bit me!!!!!!! He probably wouldn't. When we got to France, he took me into a deep forest. He apparently wanted to show me this little cottage he made when he was gone and he wanted me and him to live in it. But then he was gone. He fell into a hole. Before I could stop myself, I fell in with him. The hole had a tunnel in it and he started to go inside.
"Is this the way to the cottage?" I asked.
"No, but I fell in here and I'm going to investigate," Adin answered.
We walked for a while, and then we came to a large door. Adin busted it down. And inside was a red and gold coffin. It had diamonds on it and was shimmering, even though it was really dark in the room. I held my breath as Adin opened the coffin. And you wouldn't believe what he saw.
