Rules
I know, rules suck. But they're here, so follow them.
1 ) No god-modding, flaming, trolling, or harassment of any kind. It's annoying and you will be severely beaten.
2 ) Fighting and romance are encouraged, but keep it under control. No auto-hits or auto-dodges, and absolutely NO cybering.
3 ) Cussing is allowed, but be reasonable. If every other word in your post is a cuss word, that's ridiculous. Who speaks like that?
4 ) Semi-lit to lit and third-person, please. Seriously. If I catch you using 1337 sp34k or txt tlk, I think I'll have a conniption. First-person is just a pain to try and understand.
5 ) Don't join and then never post. You have to tell me that you're leaving the RP or going away for a while, otherwise people will get stuck and the RP won't move forward.
6 ) PM me your profile and title it 'Lab Rat.' Put a ninja of some kind in your PM. It can be a picture of a ninja, a drawing of a ninja, the word 'ninja' in bright colors, or the little ninja emote. Just make sure it's somewhere in your PM.
7 ) Do NOT post until I have your profile up. If I catch you posting without being accepted--unless I told you otherwise--you'll go on the black list. End of story.
8 ) Have fun!

Mutations
Okay, so we all know that being stuck in a labratory as a test subject is no fun. What if the idiots who chained you up also gave you powers that can be used against them? Here are some mutations for the already-freakish race of shape-shifters:
♥ Psyches
♦Able to manipulate the minds of others ♦Able to create illusions/phantasms ♦Great at reading minds ♦Often have to have an item of focus with them ♦Prone to terrible headaches
♥ Necros
♦Able to control the dead ♦Enjoy sending swarms of insects to harass opponents ♦Don't need as much sleep as everyone else ♦Minions have very short life spans ♦Minions cannot be re-animated. They get one shot
♥ Elementals
♦Can control one element ♦Powerful and destructive ♦High resistance to poisons ♦Somewhat short tempers ♦Have a slight fear of the opposite element
♥Sirens
♦Able to use tools to manipulate sounds and soundwaves ♦Overly sensitive hearing ♦Often have a very pretty normal voice ♦Often get sore throats ♦Screams are very destructive
♥ Techies
♦Able to manipulate any piece of technology ♦Often have at least one bionic limb ♦Strong memories, very intelligent ♦Usually awkward around opposite gender ♦Can replicate any electronic device/mechanism they've seen at least once
♥ Protectors
♦Able to heal either minor or major wounds, not both ♦Can protect their allies from attacks for a short amount of time ♦Not as physically strong as the other mutations ♦Can occasionally resurrect a fallen ally ♦Very rare mutation
♥ Crazies
♦Will often avenge fallen friends ♦Usually can't be stopped in a fight ♦Have freakish strength and endurance ♦Very tired after fights, need to sleep ♦Have problems with their tempers
♥ Stalkers
♦Heightened sense of awareness of other shape-shifters ♦Extremely sharp eyesight allows for catching minute details ♦Often need sunglasses because the sun seems too bright to them ♦Can follow right behind someone without being detected ♦Not very social

Remember, you can't get into this RP without filling at least one of these out. I would prefer if you made it pretty, or at least something other than just black. Oh, you can choose to be an escapee, a normal shape-shifter, or a hunter, who tries to bring the escapees back.
