jacob took a steadying breath and ran after addie, forming a fireball in his hand on the way out the door.

"DAMNIT GET BACK HERE OR I'LL KILL YOU WHEN I CATCH YOU!!!!!" he threatened and threw the fireball, hitting her in the shoulder and trying not to flinch in agony from the act. he caught up quickly and grabbed her wrist. "i'll torture you more than you would believe possible you stupid b***h" he was a very convincing actor surprisingly "we will kill exorcist after exorcist right in front of you!" he pulled her violently toward the house


She screamed for help, and tried to pull the other way. The neighborhood the home was in was abandoned other than their own home, and no one else would come to help.

"Innocence! Activate! " She called out, to a golem, that while planning for the act with the Earl, he had given her. It was a pretty clever guise, and it only activated with the same words that the exorcists used, and only to her voice. She had asked for it to be shaped like a flute, in memory of Isaiah, and as she activated it, the flute jumped out from a special pocket, and she took it with the other hand. Giving it a toot, she put on a show as if she were a real innocence user. Summoning her own shadows, she had them smack away at Jacob.

She felt bad at what they had to do, but this was important. To make sure there was a good show, that the exorcists would believe, she stayed to fight instead of running away. Her injuries inflicted by Ada were already hurting, and Jacob had hit her pretty good with the fire ball, and she would have been really happy with how strong he was now, if it weren't for the fact that they had to do this show. She would tell him once she got back....

Pulling the flute out once again, she played a tune, one that Isaiah had practiced in front of her so many times that she had learned it herself, and the shadows once again appeared, appearing out of their own shadows, and attacked at Jacob, throwing him to the side, and into a nearby tree." I WON'T LET YOU KILL MY FRIENDS, NOAH!"

"Innocence! Level two! Activate!" Playing the flute yet once again, she was covered in shadows, the flute disappearing, and her body covered in an armor, not unlike the one used the day before, only white and gold. Dashing forward, she grabbed at Jacob, and threw him aside even further.

jacob took the beatings he was dealt and then decided to up his own game as addie did. "you wanna play rough huh?....fine!" in an instant jacob recalled izzy, things they had done together, and finally the pain of losing him. he transformed into jai and stood with a red fireball in one hanf and a blue one in the other. "your going to suffer little girl~" he whipped the red ball at a few of the shadows and it totally evaporated them. he ran at addie quickly, letting the blue flame spread down his arm, leaving a light blue pattern glowing against his skin beneath the flames.
jai grabbed addie by the neck and lifted her high into the air, flinching inwardly before slamming her down into the concrete.

Addie gave a scream as she was thrown against the ground, in pain. She struggled against him, in pain, and she kicked at him, pushing him away finally.

"Fight's aren't games Noah. Lives aren't games." She seemed to be able to take on the role of an exorcist pretty easily, having fought against them for so long. "I don't care if you hurt me, but you're not getting any other innocent's lives on your hands." She said, repeating the same justice filled speech all the others she'd killed before had.

Running towards him again, her legs still not as strong as they used to be obviously, but powered up somehow, she was able to kick him in the side, and threw him against the ground.

"...I'm sorry...." She meant the beginning as a real apology to him, " But you're going to have to die you know that right?"

jai kicked her legs out swiftly, knowing her legs were her weak points. 'i'm sorry kiten' he thought and formed another fireball. he caught sight of charles and iku running towards them and he cursed "damnit...." he gave addie one last look before firing the blue flame ball at the exorcists that approached. he took off quickly, making sure to leave space for addie to hit him with one last attack as he left her there, the final touch on their act.


She cursed as she saw him running off, and did just as he wanted, throwing a final attack at the man, a shadow shooting at him, in a way helping him run away from the area.

After he left, she closed her eyes and lay on the ground, her powers withdrawing within themselves. As Iku and Charles finally made it over to her, Charles helped her stand up, as Iku ran after Jacob for as far as she could, until she lost him.

"Hey..HEY! Are you alright?!" Charles asked, holding Addie up, she meekly nodding her head. "You're lucky you made it out of there! We were getting help and...you're lucky...What's your name?"

Addie stood up on her own, wobbling about a little, "...Dilia...My name's Dilia....they attacked my Master..and my friends...and..and.."

Charles and Iku looked to each other unsure of what to do. "We'll take you back to the headquarters."

Part two of the plan: success

jacob had been hit in the right shoulder from addie's attack and he had to sperate from jai to conserve energy. he made it back to the mansion and the earl had a portal waiting for them, taking them to their new new home where the exorcists wouldn't find them. it wasn't too far from this one. he stepped out of the portal and into the new new living room. he fell into a chair, weak, weary, and bleeding. his moral suffered from having to fight the woman he loved. he had a chill run down his spine as ada worked to heal him a bit. the chill was caused by the sudden realization gil was glaring at him.

"w-what's up?" he asked and swallowed hard when ada purposefully placed him in more pain.

bell was still at the bar, drinking heavily as she debated what to do about charles and iku.


Nuri, too, was walking around downtown, getting a break from the baby sitting he had been doing so much lately. He decided that, even though it was early morning, a drink would help his mind relax, and so he ended up at the bar, unknowingly, where Bell herself was. Coincidences and a small world, working together, allowed him to sit just nearby at the bar, asking for a drink, toasting the girls nearby who seemed just as blank as he did for the time being. Of course, being at a bar this early in the morning didn't usually lead to good news either.

They sat there quietly drinking for a while, nothing said in between them, neither being much of a talker. The old Nuri, who flirted with every girl was a bit off today, though he still obviously took note of the girl, and watched her closely.

Meanwhile, in the home, it was far more less....quiet, than it was at the bar. Gil was looming over Jacob, who was sitting at the couch, being held down by Ada.

"...what's...up?...What's up...Did you hear that Ada my love?So casual. Listen here...JACOB. O love you....you're like a son to me. As a matter of fact, I consider you nothing less.....but last night..."He leaned to Jacob, with a glint in his eye, knowing that he would know what he was talking about. "...Explain to us what happened...now"

jacob blushed heavily, an uneasy task for someone to accomplish. he looked down and away from gil and a small shiver went down his spine as he felt ada's nails digging into his back. the earl walked in and sat in a chair, enjoying the little show. the girls were playing in their room with casius. "i-i....don't know what your talking about-" he said and tried to stand up only to have ada force him back down

bellisari had noticed nuri as well, she got up and moved next to him. she was slightly drunk already. "a round for each bar keep" she said to the tender. "i'm bell" she said, her italian accent showing through from her tipsiness. normally she held it well. "you look glum friend" she offered and smiled tentatively at him.


Gil stoo over Jacob still, the shadows covering his eyes, making him look even more dreadful than before, his voice not helping take away from the bone chilling moment. " You know exactly what I'm talking about, your face is telling me you're lying"

Pulling a chair over, and sitting directly in front of Jacob, he stared him down, face to face, eye to eye. " ..Or do we need to assume the worst. As I said, I love you Jacob....I don't want to hurt you more than I already have to. Now tell me...what happened. Why did my little girls complain about a racket last night? WHY did you and Addie come out of her room together this morning. AND WHY did I see her come out wearing nothing but your shirt? There are wrong answers to these questions....so think about what you say."

"Bell huh? Surely your parents named you correctly~" Nuri said with a smile the the woman.

Pouring his drink down his throat, and letting the warm alcohol sooth him, he nodded to the woman. " I'm Nuri...and yes....but you're in here as well...so I would assume that you're not doing so well either...?"

He spun his seat so that he could look to her, resting his head on his hand, which itself was resting on the bar's table.

"well...i don't exactly like my work....or the people i work with" she said a bit mysteriously. "i've been tihnking of leaving it but it wouldn't be easy...." after saying so she realized she sounded like a whore trying to leave her pimp

"i-i....i'm....uh...she came out wearing my shirt?" he asked, unbelieving of what they said. he never thought addie would do something so reckless. "i...uh...we" he tried to think of what to say. he debated lying but instead decided to just keep details to a minimum.

"you see we....we were up late talking....and then...we kissed....and then...some stuff happened..." 'and she has some bruising on the inside of her thighs' he thought "and then we fell asleep working on the plan"


Nuri nodded, not wanting to ask too much of the stranger, "That's why they call it work though..if it was meant to be liked..it would be called fun.." he said a bit sheepishly.

"...A pretty lady like you shouldn't be doing something she doesn't want to do. Fight to leave. " He said it as if it were something simple. He knew that leaving wasn't always easy, he'd wanted to leave the Earl once upon a time as well, so he could understand.

"Ada my love, I don't think he's telling us everything." Gil said simply to her, giving her the signal to do as she wanted. "...You still love her correct? Because I SWEAR that if you hurt her in anyway..."

He mumbled to the boy, though he was a man, and he knew that, he was still a young boy to Gil, and he always would be. "....Don't hurt her."

ada pinched a nerve in jaocb's neck and shot a wave of pain through him, causing him to actually cry out in pain. when she released him again he tried to spit info out to make them stop.

"i am sparing you details i am pretty sure you don't want to hear!" he shouted and tried to recover from the attack "i love her...i've always loved her...i always will and you know that.....i would never...i'd never hurt her...." he looked away, ashamed at having to physically hurt her in accordance with the earl's wishes

Almost as if she knew they were talking about her, Addie gave a shiver, and the exorcists that were showing her around the Order, looked at her strangely before continuing the tour.

A few weeks past as Addie remained in the Dark Order. She hadn't been feeling well lately, which she took as an opportunity to analyze everything about the inner workings. It was the fifth day in a row that she had been sick, and as she wandered around the large building, waving to the finders and science department that she had known for the time she had been here, she made her way over to the room that the large machine that was hurting the akuma and Noah was set up in.

She'd found out that it was periodically turned off, to regenerate it, once a week, and she knew the exact time, precisely to the hour now. Soon She would be able to go home and tell the Earl of her findings.

"master earl its been nearly 6 weeks now! LET ME OUT ALREADY!" jacob shouted from his bedroom. gil and ada had locked him in when he told them he and addie had had sex. he'd been trapped since then and he pounded on the door angrily. his room had a bathroom and a shower as well as clothes but he was going insane being trapped.

"gil...sweetie maybe we should let him out...addie is coming back today..." ada offered as she gil and cas sat in the living room drinking coffee. the earl had taken merri and arisa shopping. it was almost their birthday.

bell and nuri had been meeting for weeks now, getting closer and closer as they learned a bit more about the other. bell was at the dark order HQ currently. she'd met Dilia, the new girl, a few times already. she saw that charles seemed very close to her and iku seemed very distant. she enjoyed the fact the quiet blond girl separated the power charles and iku had when together. she saw the girl in a hallway. "dil!" she called, her accent totally masked "you are on leave for the next week or so right?...me too...where are you headed? home?"


Sir Callen, the cat which looked as if it were gaining an unimaginable amount of weight in a short while, meowed lazily, as it always did, in agreement to Ada's statement.

Gil, who sat across from his brother, taking a sip of coffee as well, only shook his head. "...If she's coming home..I think it would be safer for him to stay inside while she's here, don't you think?"

Casius actually agreed and gave a nod.

"Jacob! Earl's not here! He's not going to reply!" Gil responded to the other man's screams.

Addie, or Dilia as she was called here, gave a slight jump, not expecting anyone to call out to her. She turned to find the Bell girl, that she had met only a couple times, though she honestly didn't seem so bad.

Giving her a smile, she nodded. "Ahah...Yes. Just for a while...My mother and Father are waiting for me..along with my little sisters and well...a whole lot of family." She said with a laugh.

Walking with Bell, just randomly around the halls, she turned to her to ask her the same thing. "And yourself...? Do you have a home you're going to be visiting while you're gone..?"

"n-no...i'm an orphan. you are very lucky to have a big family. i'm actually going to spend time with this guy i've been seeing...." she answered dilia's question and they finally reached the clock out station. "well...this is where we part...enjoy your visit home" she said and smiled at the girl before parting

"GIL LET ME OUT!!!" jaocb pounded on the door harder now. "YOU CAN'T KEEP ME IN HERE FOREVER!" he shouted.


Addie smiled to the girl, and nodded, " Have fun then!"

Just as she was about to leave, she caught sight of Nuri wandering about just across the street, in front of a bar. She saw Bell quickly catch up to him and she paused a bit at the sight. ".....huh...really Nuri...?"

She gave a laugh and turned to go home, watching the two walk in the other direction, and making a mental note to give him the third degree when she saw him again.

Gil gave a heavy sigh, and put his coffee down, walking over to the door, unlocking it, and stepping aside to let him out. He then quickly went back to his seat to drink his coffee with his wife and brother, who he seemed to get along with a whole lot lately.

Just as he did, Addie stepped through the front door, a smile on her face as she caught sight of her family once again. "I'm home!"

Casius gave a look to Ada, almost as if saying 'perfect timing there huh?' and Gil jumped up, grabbing Addie and spinning her around happily.

"Ugh! Dad! no no no..." She whined begging to be let down, and she tried to steady herself, feeling like she was going to be sick, so she sat on the ground. Gil gave her a pained look, sad that he couldn't hug her after not seeing her for so long, but she soon recovered and gave him a simpler hug, along with Ada and Casius, and lastly Jacob.

"I've missed you guys..." The cat even gave a 'mrow' though she only eye balled it with a twitch. "...I didn't miss you, monster." It only walked away in response, sneaking off to Gil and Ada's room.

ada smiled when addie hugged her then she went to put on tea ((which she always makes and no one ever drinks hahahah)). while she was gone gil would steal hugs every time she let her guard down. he kept looking her over to make sure she wasn't hurt, though she was still bruised from some of jacobs attacks, and he from hers. every time jacob or addie tried to move closer to one another gil jumped between them, glaring at jacob with annoyance.

"apparently the earl is out with the girls.." jacob said trying to at least get a chance to speak to addie. when gil was looking at her he tried signaling that they knew about their night together. he was not very good at charades though.

Bell had planned to meet Nuri at their bar. it had become their regular meeting place. "Saluti!" she called to him and waved happily when she found him waiting for her outside of her clock in station. she still hadn't told him she was an exorcist. it tended to scare off most people because they couldn't lead normal lives.

"i just got off, a new girl is on vacation this week too...we were talking about our breaks" she said as they started walking towards a small park on the outskirts of town. their fingers were laced together. "she is going home to be with her family...Nuri, you haven't told me much about yours yet...please? I never got to have a family outside of the order-r..." she bit her tongue and hoped he hadn't caught her mistake.


Nuri gave the girl a huge smile when he saw her, and walking close to her, holding her hand tightly, he couldn't help but grin foolishly. Once she asked about his family, he gave a small twitch, not knowing how to explain. "Ah.....wait...Order...?"

He eyed her, a bit surprised. He hoped he hadn't heard correctly. He felt a bit sick in his stomach if he had, if she was an exorcist. He hadn't thought much about it, but if she were supposed to be the enemy, and she found out that he was a Noah...what would she think? Would she think him to only pretended to like her to get to the innards of the organization. Perhaps changing the subject he supposed.

"Ah....my family...I've got a big family...it's almost as if a new member is always added a day...they're like rabbits." He laughed. "I have two little nieces, who are adorable, a brother and his wife, the girl's parents. They have another daughter, who's grown now though, about our age actually. A brother as well...though he and I fight constantly. And the man who took us all in..he's sort of like...a grandfather slash uncle....."

She'd told him that she was an orphan, "I bet you'd enjoy watching them all argue." He said with a smile once again.

As Nuri and Bell enjoyed their time together, Addie gave a heavy sigh, at the news that the Earl was still gone. "I was hoping I'd get some useful information to him when I got here...but I guess it'll have to wait."

Looking to Jacob, confused to his signs, she shook her head, not having any idea what he meant...at all. "Well....What's been going on at home...? I'm sorry I haven't kept in contact too well...I've been so tired and...ugh...just sick...I think the amount of innocence in that building is making me sick in some way...so you all have to clue me in" She said, smiling at the four of them that were there.

Ada came over with the tea, offering it to Addie with the advice that it'll help her feel better, though the tea was known to not be so good, she drank it nonetheless for her mother, as everyone told her about what had been going on.

"Merri and Arisa's birthdays are coming up." Gil mentioned, "You're going to be able to celebrate it with us" He said happily. "...Jacob locked himself in his room for the six weeks you were gone.."

He looked to the younger man out of the corner of his eye, his arm still around his daughter's shoulder, the other around Ada's, who sat down on his other side. In truthfulness, he felt like a king at the moment, and he gave a small blissful smile at having two of his girls with him.

Addie had to hold her stomach together from the smell of the tea that was getting to her as he talked, and excused herself for a moment, so as not to be completely nauseous by the stench, er....scent, of the tea, and Gil gave a giant excited laugh as the Earl came back as well.

"Addie's home Master Earl! Apparently she's got some great news for you! She'll tell you after she's done being sick at the smell of my dear Ada's tea~ OW" he said as he was punched in the side by his wife.


ada had gotten up and taken the girls coats to her bedroom. they kept all of the things close at hand in case of escape needs. as she opened the closet she found sir callen laying on the floor of the closet. "damn kitty...." she cursed as she saw the dark furred kitten was laying on something white. she bent down to move the cat but sir callen hissed aggressively, causing ada to withdraw her hand. she noticed what the cat was laying on was her gown.

"GILBERT! JACOB!" she shouted, hoping one of the men would come to her rescue, but the entire family, minus addie, joined her. "what is it?" jacob asked and reached around her to get a better view just as sir callen gave birth to the first of three small kittens. "holy-...you mean...he...is a she?!? I'M AN UNCLE??? SIR CALLEN!!!!!" jacob had a look of happiness mixed with anger and fear on his face.

jacob left the family with the kittens after a bit. he'd found the little girls loved them, ada was pissed at sir callen, and gil was petrified because one of the kittens mewed at him, and he swore it was placing a death hex upon his head. the earl laughed and enjoyed the spectacle.

jaocb knocked lightly on the bathroom room. "kitten...your not gonna-..." he thought he heard her crying softly "...kitten?" he called quietly, not wanting to draw attention from the rest of the family. he tried the door handle but it was locked. "addie?...addie let me in" he said, still keeping his voice low. when she still didn't answer he reached down to his belt and pulled a hair pin off of it. he always wore a few...just in case he needed to pick a lock or fix a fly-away.

after a few seconds he had the door open and he stepped in the bathroom to see addie a mess on the floor. he closed and relocked the door then sat and held her, trying to calm her down without knowing what was wrong. "there there kitten...your just sick....it'll pass....don't tell me you've never had the flu before?" he tried teasing her to lighten the mood

bell had heard him repeat the order. she looked at him after he told her about his family. "y-you don't mind...that i'm in the black order?" she asked a bit astonished "i mean...most people high tail it when they find out....it doesn't bother you?" she realized she'd complained to nuri a lot about her job and she knew he knew she didn't like working there. she wondered if that was why he was so understanding


When Jacob broke in, Addie was already too into the crying to notice him, but when he put his arms around her, she clung to him tightly for just a little, before hitting at his chest to get him away as well. Too many things were flying through her mind at the moment.

"NO YOU a**!" She yelled at him. She knew he was only trying to comfort her, but at this moment, he really couldn't do that. Her voice hiccuped every time she tried to speak, and her sobs interrupted her from speaking full sentences at once. "The- I...we...."

She held her stomach tightly, as she continued crying and pulled away from him, curling up. She knew he needed to know, but she just couldn't think of what to say. Just a few moments ago, she'd found out herself after all.

"...baby..." Was all she could say before burying her face in her arms and folding her knees up to her head as she waited for his response. She hoped that he would get it, she didn't want to say it out loud herself.

Nuri only gulped. Closing his eyes, he felt as if he'd been stabbed in the face. This wasn't good. He was really starting to like this girl too...

"...I-I'm fine with it." He held her hand reassuringly, and wondered if he should tell her about himself, since she had told him. The exorcists thought differently than they did. Would she attack him on the spot...? He didn't know what to do.


".........w-what?....how did you know....did you know sir callen was pregnant?....addie i know your scared of cats but...c'mon" he laughed a bit and reached for her again but when she pulled away he saw it on the floor. he reached down and picked it up, his hand shaking all the while. "y-y.....n-no....yo couldn't.....this can't be......"the stick fell tot he ground and clicked lightly, but in jacob's ears it sounded like crashing thunder. too many things swirled into his head at once. everything from his first time getting a girl pregnant, through the pain, the hurt, the loss, and then through everything he'd experienced with addie in their tme together.

".....your pregnant...." jacob said looking at her a moment. he reached out and pulled her in close, forcing her to stay in his embrace even when she tried to push away. "it'll be alright kitten....everytihng will be fine....i odn't know how yet....but i'll make this right...i promise you....i'm not going anywhere....look at me" he tipped her chin up and wiped away some of her tears. "i love you....and we will love this child....everything will be okay" he said comfortingly, though he wasn't as sure of himself as he sounded, in fact he was petrified. he leaned in and kissed her lightly on the lips.

"s-so....now you know my big secret....how about you mystery man? you've still never told me what it is you do exactly...or if i'll ever get to meet this family of yours"


Nuri took in a deep breath, and stood in front of her, holding her closely, and looking her in the eye. "...Firstly....I have to say I swear I didn't know you were an exorcist....I swear...."

He let her go and took a step back, not knowing if she'll have a bad reaction to what he was about to tell her. "....my family...you've probably met them now that I know you're an exorcist...you've most likely met them all....The Man who took us all in when we had no where else to go, who is like a father or grandfather to us...Is the Millennium Earl...." As he spoke to her, his skin changed from it's (not fake) tan color, to the grayish hue that was known to belong to those of the Noah clan, his eyes from an icy blue, to a golden yellow, his fire-y red hair turned to a dark ashen color, and the noted stigmata appeared on his forehead.

"...I'm the Noah of Desires..."
((OOOOOOH SNAP))

Addie kissed him back lightly, his reassuring voice calming her down just enough for her to be able to breath correctly again, and she just clung to him tightly, "...The Earl...he'll be mad won't he? And...Ada and Gil..." She spoke using their real names, too afraid to call them mom and dad. "What are we going to do?...I can't be a mother...I can't force you to be a father..."

She could feel the tears brimming her eyes again, and she continued clinging to him as tightly as she could, crying into his shirt. "I'm sorry I'm so sorry..."


"y-your...." bell took a step back and cautiously reached for her weapon *can't even remember what the hell it is* but remembered since she is off duty she doesn't have it on her. she wasn't sure if he was going to attack her or not, but she thought about it a moment then relaxed her stance. "so...your a noah....i must really sck at my job...probably because i really just don't care....did you know nuri....that some of us don't have a choice?...we need to be humanities guard dogs..."

"kitten you aren't forcing anything on my...you have nothing to be sorry for...this isn't your fault...its mine...i shouldn't have-" he stopped himself and just held her as he tried to control his own emotions. "kiten no one is going to hate you or hurt you....if they dare try i'll kill them....ada and g-" he gulped "gil...they love you and will love your baby...our baby....and they will protect it....just like they protect you...just like they protect the girls..."


Nuri changed his form back to normal, and nodded his head, still standing at a safe distance. "...I know...the Noahs don't have a choice either way...it's the same for both sides..."

He mumbled, and sat at a bench that was nearby. "You haven't attacked me. "He didn't realize that she didn't have her weapon with her at the moment. " I promise I won't attack you.."

She nodded, relaxing to his words. "...Our baby will be lucky to have you as it's father Jack."

She pulled away from him a moment, to give him a kiss just as he had done to her, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding him tightly. "....Thank you..for being here for me...for the two of us..."

She couldn't tell that he was scared too, but she really wished that she could remember him from when they were together. The pang in her heart told her she loved him, but her mind told her that she'd only known him for such a little amount of time. She was still sad, but having him there with her made her feel a bit easier.

"...My heart remembers it loves you....but if you feel doubt about this...." She let the sentence drag on not knowing how she was going to finish it.


jaocb cut her off with another kiss before she had a chance to finish. "listen to me...i love you...i will always love you...no matter what ever happens....do you understand me?" he looked at her and with this he was 100% positive and confident. her words about him being a good father threw a knot into his stomach like he'd just been punched, but he didn't let addie see that. after calming her downa bit more he finally helped her up off of the floor and they left the bathroom, sneaking to her room.

jaocb tucked her in bed so she could rest. "if you need anything just let me know...i will figure something out...and then we will tell them all...together..." he leaned over and kissed her forhead

"why is that...aren't you supposed to kill us" she asked, her demeanor calm but her voice not so trusting right now. the thing was, she wanted to trust nuri. she wanted him to know she trusted him, and she wouldn't care or fight if he did attack her, because he was the only one she cared about at this point in er life.


Addie gave a nod, and watched him leave, rolling the covers over her head and just laying in bed, covered from head to toe, her hands resting lightly on her stomach. "...am I such a horrible mother already that I don't want my own child...?" She rolled over and fell asleep crying a bit silently, too tired to not fall asleep.

As Jacob exited the room, he came face to face with the two little girls, Merri and Arisa, bouncing up and down in front of him excitedly. "Jacob Jacob! The kittens are soooo cute!"

"Yeah yeah! We're going to keep them right? I can help be the kitties mommy!!"

"Stupid! you can't be a cat's mother! " And thus an argument began again between the two in front of Jacob.

"...I'm supposed to...I should....but I can't...I just.." He looked to her, almost as if asking for forgiveness for something he hadn't done. "I can't attack you..let alone kill you...."

He looked down to the ground then, still unsure of what to do. He knew he couldn't hurt her, he felt too close to her, he couldn't do that. "IF...you want to leave now though....you can."



jacob shushed the too girls and told them addie wasn't feeling well. he led them away from the bedroom door and then said they could keep one of the kittens, but not till it was old enough to be away from sir cllen, so they had to wait eight weeks. the two girls stopped arguing and ada smiled at jacob as they ran into their parents room where gil was still shrieking in fear as the kittens mewed.

"you know...its almost like your a natural parent jacob" she said, trying to be kind, not knwing bout jaocb's past.

"...." jacob gulped and nodded in thanks to ada.

"...if you don't want me around...your going to have to tell me to leave...you know that right?" she asked and finally sat next to him on the bench. "damnit...we aren't...star crossed lovers....we are just two people who hate following orders....and somehow were drawn together by a twist of fate....wait...do noah's believe in fate?" she asked and leaned her head on his shoulder


Gil, despite being completely taken into girlish fright because of the kittens, noticed that there was something off about Jacob. As Sir Callin was still in the closet, the kittens crawling around blindly around her, he took the chance to walk over to Jacob. "...Are you alright...? You don't seem so well...."

"Come on sit down....I don't see a reason to be so shocked about the kittens.." He said, obviously clueless to what had just happened between the white haired boy and his own daughter in the bathroom.

Nuri shook his head, and leaned back, letter fer follow and just rest her head on his shoulder. "Then I guess you can't leave.."

he thought silently for moment, "..I suppose we do...My sister, Addie, and Jacob....it's practically fate that has brought them together again...they're meant to be together...and my Gil and Ada...them too.. fate brought them together more times than I can count actually....so I don't know about the rest of my family...but I guess I believe in it.....though calling it a bit of a romeo and juliet story kind of has a fun flair to it don't you agree?" He said with a laugh.


"so...i'm romeo and you juliete then?" she asked teasing him lightly. "nuri...if the order finds out....about me being with you...they'll torture me and most likely try to use me against you...or kill me" she said and she took his hand in her own as she looked off across the park.

"and if the earl finds out about me....he'll probably order you to kill me won't he?" she asked, a bit of concern in her voice. "i don't care about this stupid war anymore....i never really cared...it just gave me something to do so i wouldn't be focused on how alone i was...now that i'm not alone anymore....it seems fate has turned its hand against me....." she didn't want the earl to make nuri be the one to kill her when the time came.

"g-gil?!" jaocb hadn't heard him coming. he'd been so lost to his thoughts that hezoned out a bit. "i-its not that...." he said and started fiddling with his shirt zipper. "it-s...."

"your brother?" gil asked quietly. he knew about the voice jacob heard, jacob had been with him the first time he became jai without his brother being there. "i know you two found sir callen together...but its not something you have control over...perhaps you can name one of the kittens in memory of your brother...its a new begining jacob....don't let this bum you out...besides you know how your brother was with the girls...he would have been a horrible father"

"f-father?!" jacob looked up with panic in his eyes thinking gil knew.

"to the kittens....your great with kids and he wasn't...you'll do fine helping sir callen take care of them...don't worry" gil said and smiled at the boy, ruffling his hair like he was still just a kid

Nuri paused, thinking aloud he squeezed her hand reassuringly. " Nothing of the sort will happen." He wasn't so sure as to what would happen, but he wouldn't let her get hurt, he knew that much. " They won't find out...neither side....I know someone...who has been at the order lately...I'll talk to her, she help. If there's any way leak...or suspicion, she'll back you up in anything if I ask her."

He leaned into her, and gave a bit of a grin, whispering into her ear teasingly. "...Unless of course, you want to run away together~" He spoke with a grin.

After what he thought to be a a productive talk with Jacob, he gave him a smile. It was almost as if he hadn't locked him in his own room for a month and a half. However, a kitten soon gave another whiny 'mew' sound, and he hid behind the man that, was secretly, to be the father of his grandchild. Of course, if he knew, the contact between them would be somewhat more....violent.

"I trust you to be a good enough guardian to the kittens so that they can grow up strong and healthy..so that they can leave the house." With another 'mew' came another scream from the 40 some year old man.

"Daddy! We have baby kitties now, can we have a baby human too?!" Merri asked naively. Now that all the kittens were born, they were crawling around, much to Ada's dismay, on the wedding gown that Sir Callin had given birth in, looking for milk, and the two girls were sitting at the door of the closet, watching it all.

This earned another shriek from Gil, and he shook his head. "NO NO NO NO! My little girls - JUST NO!" He ran over to Ada, and clung to her. "This isn't happening is it? 50 cats walking around the house, my little girls, asking for babies!?"

Casius could only laugh at his brother's momentary lapse of 'cool' that he always seemed to have disappeared at the moment. "...You DO know that they're too young for that right...?"

The Earl could only laugh, secretly knowing what was going on. He always knew...everything, without being told most of the time. He just knew. He gave Jacob a small glance, to see his reaction at all the sudden talk of human children going around. "Ah...well not all of us are too young for that I suppose~" He said with a grin.


jacob looked to the earl with shock and horror on his face. he turned and left quickly, stepping outside into the brisk air, trying to calm himself down from all of the commotion. 'there's no way....how could....he couldn't know....he couldn't' he thought to himself 'jacob he knows...the earl always knows....and you know if you don't tell gil soon that he will...he enjoys your suffering....'izzy's voice said quietly in jacob's head.

"only if you can outrun me....nuri" she said teasingly back at him before gently kissing him on the lips. "so...what do we do now?"


The Earl could only relish in Jacob's small reaction, and he smiled brightly, pretending to be enjoying the new life of the kittens and their mother, though in reality he just loved the small amount of power he had over 'Jacob-pet'

He used his connection with Jacob, to call him back inside, 'Jacob-pet~ You know you can't run away~' Even though they were only speaking through their connection in their minds, he still managed to have a sing-song like tone to his own thoughts. 'You can't possibly think that I'll make this easy for you now that I know correct~?'

Nuri stood up, and pulled her with him. "Come on then! We continue without so much as a damper on anything. We are who we are...things'll get in the way...but we can't let them stop us right?" He said cheerfully, happy that she hadn't rejected him completely and that this had gone as smoothly as it could have
