"she heard a lound sound not from afar, as if something huge had struck the ground, followed by a flock of panicky birds flying above her..."
"..."A pleasant morning, dearest friends..." The welcoming light breeze never fails to paint a lingering smile on Methuselah's face; it was a friend closest to her heart. She had known it since the beginning - a companion that never left her side. Methuselah reached her hand forward, as if to touch the wind.
She landed on a ground covered by large roots of trees which had been in the forest since she didn't know when. She could only guess. Even in this time of day, with the mighty sun above, very little light seeped through, just enough to make out the things around. Methuselah started walking, her senses high alert. Birdsongs from the trees, the chirping of the crickets on the ground, the screeching of bats, and an occasional cooing of an owl...those were the only sounds she could hear. Nothing mysterious. "Perhaps it was just a rumor. I should start off to the palace now" she said to herself. Just when she was about to call the wind, she heard a lound sound not from afar, as if something huge had struck the ground, followed by a flock of panicky birds flying above her. They came from the east. "Wind, fly me east!", she called to the wind, panick arising from her chest."
