So....I grew up thinking that people always had good reasons for doing the things that they did, right? You grew up to believe that people did things so that you would be protected because you were important and they had your back. It's weird when you grow up to find out that that isn't true and people couldn't care less about you than they do the dirt on the ground. Like when you watch the movies or whatever people lie so that someone doesn't get hurt, but they end up getting hurt anyway because according to the famous movie line, we can't handle the truth. When people know the truth they just end up getting hurt more than if they knew the lie, or if they just minded their own business and stayed out of it. But it weird again, because that's what people want. They want the truth knowing that it may hurt them and cause them pain. So can we ever say that someone hurt us bad. Would we have felt better if just lived our lives living the lie in which we basked in glory becuase everything seemed okay, or are people telling us the truth just the right way to go. People have a right to the truth, that can't be denied, but when the truth hurts us and we demand that we know it, are we letting someone else hurt us, or are we just hurting ourselves?
