What the sun has kissed the rain has blessed and gentle or harsher winds have caressed What the sky has seen the trees protect to evade a million walls ,erect With eyes to see what ears have not heard a mind destined to fly like a river-bird As the water flows and the fire rages whisper this incantation throughout the Ages

I... wrote this when I was, I think, a high school freshman. I rushed out to an area behind the school that is lined by trees, and I just sat there and wrote what was on my mind. I quickly proceeded to come up with more, just by feeling the sun light peeking through the leaves of those trees... In about fifteen, nineteen minutes, the poem was out. O.o
I read it out loud, and with every line the trees would begin to rustle. I stopped, they stopped. I started, and they recontinued their rustling. I proceeded to stop uttering the sacred words because the coincidence was actually freaking me out, but I couldn't help liking the idea that I'd written something about nature that even nature appreciated. O.o
I knew I put it online somewhere, and found it in the archives of an old poetry site. @_@;
