Fire burns in my icy heart,
The darkness shows my part.
In the sky I hit the ground,
Crashing down into a cloud.
Look up and see me far below,
Frozen in the flames so low.
My life is as easy as baking a pie,
As hard as a camel trying to go through a needle’s eye.
Will I turn to the icy oven or the fiery fridge?
The frozen furnace or the smelting freezer?
The deepest heights or the highest depths?
Between the mourning sunset and the late sunrise,
Life has no meaning.
Meaningless life turns to devastating death.
Who cares for his brother?
Yet if one dies the other changes his mind,
Wishing he had never held a grudge.
In Antarctica I burst into flames,
In the desert I lie frozen.
In the day I’m invisible in the crowd,
In the night I stand alone.
Everything is meaningless until the complexity is rejected.
When life is simple, life is good.
Science explains so much and takes away our purpose.
We’re always looking for answers,
But searching was so much better than finding.
Life will always be pointless,
As long as scientists tell us “facts”.
Theory is winning over proof.
Nothing makes sense if you think too hard,
So back off and think as simply as a child does.
Don’t think too hard.
