*luna and yukiko stare at each others' outfits and say*

luna: why are you a cheerleader?

yukiko: why are you a witch?

*sometime later*

luna: alright, you're a dark elf, but you're dressed as if you're part of the Durem Divisional Cheerleading Squad for Gaia University.

yukiko: that's because i am. the real question is why you're dressed as a witch.

luna: i want to be a Gothic Lolita for once.

yukiko: you look like Amane Misa-san.

luna: i'm not in all black and i'm pale. plus, my hair is white, not blonde.

yukiko: so what?

luna: we're not the same.

yukiko: ...then who's your Light?

luna: i have no "Light."

yukiko: of course you do. it's one of those four guys that we had...to...lay...off...too.

luna: how many people and things are we going to lose before the economy gets better?

yukiko: probably a lot.

luna: back to the discussion. why would you even ask such a question?

yukiko: because there's a Death Note showing next week.

luna: oh yeah! but, the Avatar's friends lied; there is no showing on Friday.

yukiko: so what? it'll be live action! but, will the showing be dubbed or subbed?

luna: hopefully subbed. dubbed anything is lame nowadays. besides, this is the first time the Avatar will be able to see something in another Asian language.

yukiko: that's true. but, who will be going with her?

luna: the one called "wraithtaker."

yukiko: is that some sort of nickname?

luna: he is also an Avatar.

yukiko: oh. well, of course him! who else?

luna: two of her classmates from her school. one is a female with the name of "Jasmine." the other is a male, i believe.

yukiko: you believe? what do you mean? in this world, "i believe" means "i'm not sure."

luna: well, i can't figure out his name, but the Avatars refer to him as "Houdini."

yukiko: ...you mean like Harry Houdini?

luna: yeah, but i have no idea where that came from.

yukiko: maybe we should ask our Avatar about her life.

luna: and maybe explain how we think everything works in this world. i mean, we know the images are referred to as Avatars, but capitalization means importance. are the Avatars important.

yukiko: it's just a way we can show off how we look.

luna: but we have to share her between us. and so far, you are the most representated.

yukiko: followed by who?

yukiko: poor selene. if the Avatar favors us, maybe selene can be represented again!

luna: how do you know?

yukiko: i don't know; we're at the mercy of our Avatar, and the Avatar is at the mercy of the Admins, and they are at the mercy of the Founder. it's weird like that.

luna: yeah, but we'll explain on the journey to the Barton Cliffs.

yukiko: why the Barton Cliffs?

luna: that's where the Avatars are said to be.

yukiko: ...or we can just look in the towns. there are many Avatars there.

luna: that's true.

himeko and selene: will we get a line tomorrow?
