*himeko is having great difficulty with the power. she doesn't know why, but she truly thinks that the starship is fixing itself*

himeko: how am i supposed to do this? it just keeps fixing itself.

*suddenly, the ship turns on and himeko is flown out of the engine*

inside...

selene: wow, this is so cool!

luna: if you say so. it's just a starship. still, i didn't think that this old thing could fly.

yukiko: well, thank selene for the key.

selene: you're welcome.

luna: where's himeko?

yukiko: i think that she was in the engine. she must've flown out when it started.

luna: hn.

selene: well, can this thing fly anywhere we want?

luna: i think we should stay in Gaian territory.

yukiko: i agree. i think it would be best if we stayed here. i mean, we wouldn't want to end up like the travelers.

luna: true. well, we've activated power and the central core is functional and has been stabilized. now, what do we do?

selene: why don't we see if the teleporter works.

yukiko: *sighs* i'll go get the rocks.

*a purple dot is falling from the sky...wait, that's not a dot*

dot: ooof!

*sorry, the dot was himeko*

himeko: shut up! *looks around* hey, i'm home! i'm back in my Barton! the real Barton! yahoo! but, where are my friends?

*suddenly, rocks begin falling from the sky*

himeko: ow! where are these rocks coming from?

yukiko: okay, i think that's enough. i don't think that throwing rocks through is a legitimate way to see if it works.

selene: true, but we can't throw ourselves through. who knows where it might lead to?

*luna touches something and the ship begins talking*

ship (in male voice): good day, and welcome to Oberon central command. i am the AI for this module. i am called Ryd.

the trio: hi, Ryd.

Ryd: hello. and who might you be? you are not the crew.

yukiko: we do not know what has happened to the ship's crew. we found you abandoned in a junkyard. do you remember anything from about six months ago?

Ryd: i am sorry, but my memory seems to have been deleted upon landing here. how do you know it was six months ago?

luna: well, it supposedly happened sometime during the summer. we were thinking it was about six months ago.

Ryd: i see. if there is anything you can do for you, i will be glad to help.

luna: well, there's this one thing. i have a friend and i think she flew out of your engine. do you know where she is?

Ryd: who is she?

luna: her name is himeko. she has a purple dot for hair.

*Ryd begins checking for himeko's whereabouts*

Ryd: my systems indicate she is within the Internet in the world of Gaia. the location appears to be entirely pixelated.

luna: that's it. Ryd, set a course for the Internet. destination: Barton Town.

Ryd: as you wish.
