Chapter 1
Azani was walking home from a party. Her vision was hazy and she couldn't make out a lot of things. The wind slowly started picking up. Azani saw something that looked like a person, when she blinked he was gone.
As the wind blew, she heard something in the distance. The person seemed to be closer and closer to her. Azani ignored it, but the stranger was only a few feet from her.She quickened her pace , and so did the person.
She soon began to run at full speed, only to be followed by the man. She ran into an alley to hide. A set of bright yellow eyes flashed in the darkness. Azani stepped back on the damp brick alley wall. A faint growl came from the direction of the eyes. Two other sets of eyes appeared. Bright purple and a deadly red.
Azani gulped and tears formed at the brim of her eyelids. She prepared herself to scream. Nothing. Not even the simplest vibration in the air.
"Rylee, you know what to do," a voice murmured softly.
Footsteps started to approach Azani. She tried to move as far back as she could go. The yellow piercing eyes appeared gazing into her eyes. What seemed like sudden flash of light, forced Azani into unconsciousness.
"Kyo," the voice said.
The purple eyes moved to pick her up, bridal style, and they all disappeared into the night.
