was she so perfect that the loss of her ruined him completely?
he is a man that was destroyed from the inside.
i would much rather be beaten within an inch of my life than be hurt like that.
if he got up and left today, i would be in those shoes.
he really loved her, but he really hated her, too.
still does.
don't know if he'll ever move on.
i can only hope.
he doesn't look at me - he looks through me to images of her.
his hands touch me, but in his mind they are caressing her.
he tells me he loves me, but he hopes the words are reaching her.
he says he wants to hold her, but he wants to break her.
he wants to build her up, but he wants to destroy her.
i can compete with looks, intellect, and charm -
what i cannot compete with is his love for her.
i have never seen someone have such a hold on another they weren't even near
