Once again, I'm back~!!! stare Eh, how's just doing my usual rants and whatnot, since that's about the only thing on my mind....
You know you've got it bad when you owe your life to your music teacher. stare Yeah, that's pretty much my story here. When I was little, I was really involved in music, for I was learning how to play the piano and singing... a lot. When I was 7 or 8-ish, I stopped. It was around then that I forgot what true happiness was, so I just accepted life as it came. In middle school, I met my music teacher, who was also the school's band teacher. I was in awe of his passion for music as he taught me all about it. I remember a couple of classes where he came in, brought his keyboard, make us write some lyrics, and he would play and sing them without hesistation. This man loved music that much that he would do things like that for his students. Well, seeing that, it was pretty much a slap in the face. He had showed me the world of music, and I fell in love with it, and, needless to say, it's a love affair that's still strong. He opened my eyes to a whole world that I had been missing, gave me hope, dreams, and happiness. When 8th grade, the last year of middle school, rolled around, I asked him to teach me the piano, which he happily obliged. As you can see, I still play it. He inspired me to sing, to enjoy life again. I owe him majorly for that.
Well, since I'm on the subject of music, I might as well restate some old news, just for the heck of it. For one, music is... therapeutic. It helps calm your mood, make you excited, make you want to hurt someone, or even cause suicidal thoughts. I'm not kidding; it's that "persuasive" to the mind. Oh, and need I add: If you're trying to keep a plant alive, play some music near it. Doesn't really matter much, so long as you play it. Plants respond to music... or rather, vibrations in the air. Also, talking to your plants helps. 3nodding So, go and give it a try, it really works!
