Has been a long time, has it not?
Well, a little about my recent times, in case you wanted to know: Went on some trips, gone to Connecticon, and school started again. Well, there goes my whole freaking summer. :Stare: 'Tis be September yet again, and up come my oh-so-wonderful PSATs. (No, I still have no clue as to what it stands for... if you care to tell me, leave a comment!) *Is still horrible at acronyms* Want an example? Well, here ya go: In the city adjacent to my little town, there's a place called "Rat Pack Motorcycle Club", except on the sign, it says "RPMC". Well, silly ol' me had to think it stood for "Role Play Marine Corps". Well, at least I had the letters right. 3nodding
I've been a-ponderin', yet again: Whilst watching a movie, a quote got to me. It said "When talking to your kids, don't tell them to plan for the future, tell them to plan to be surprised." (Needless to say, I got it from Dan in Real Life. Good movie!) For all of my wise readers, you know what it means. You've run into things like that throughout your lives. For the younger folk, well, let's just say that not everything will turn out to be your way. It's life. Just gotta put up with it, unfortunately. What works for one doesn't always work for another.
Another quote from a movie that I just have to add: (Well, it's actually part of a scene that several people are talking in.) "It's what you do that defines who you are." "No, it's who you are that defines what you do." "Actually, I think it's what how you do it." (Quite a conversation, isn't it?) I got it from the movie, Across the Universe. Pretty good movie, kinda trippy, if I do say so myself. Got lost a couple of times during it since I wasn't sure what exactly was going on. (Guess it's my drugfree lifestyle that keeps me out-of-touch....) Well, if you care to leave comments, I'd appreciate some feedback on what you think, or even which you agree with most. 3nodding
Ah, the spirit of perverseness. 3nodding Admit it, we're all perverts at least once in our lives. But, yet, being perverse is not all what it is decieved to be. It doesn't need to be just about (reproduction), but also many things more. For, what a pervert means, is to change things from one meaning to another. In basic, anyway. There's probably a more precise definition lurking around somewhere, but I prefer to not plagarize my blogs.
To be, or not to be? Well, I'm just asking: Am I the only one (or one of the few) that have noticed the extreme difference between American English and plain English? confused *English teachers have hard time understanding why I don't adhere to their concepts of grammar* Yeah, so I speak English, so what? Just because I don't speak American English doesn't mean it's wrong! *Rants on and on to self*
Psshh... well, I think I better wrap this one up, whaddya say?
