Kumiko's big purple eye began to moisten when she just expolded into tears. "Huh?! What did I do?! Kumiko what did I do?! Are you okay?!" She kept on bawling like a little three year-old not getting her way. I was beginning to get a little anxious. What did I do to make her cry? People began to whisper and stare at us in the hallway. "Okay...um Kumiko lets go to the library and talk there." I whispered in a 'hush-hush' tone. I slammed my locker shut and walked to the library with her.
On the way there, Kumiko spilled the beans. She heard from Keiko that Kinji liked me and wanted to ask me out. "Are you sure, Kumiko? I mean, Keiko can get a little carried away with things. She's a liar. I smell it even with my stuffed up nose. I can you know." I sniffed. "No Mayu! I'm for sure this time! Kinji really does like you! I could see it in Keiko's eyes. This time, Kinji Yoshikumi really does like you." Kumiko replied. I looked at Kumiko to see if she was joking with me. Her eyes said, 'Really, Mayu. I'm not lying.' "Okay..." I wasn't sure what to say. I was just a normal girl living life to the fullest. No boy ever came into my life besides my dad, and two irritating brothers, Taiki and Hiro.
