Okay. Here it is. Soulless Affections Chapter 6. I might be able to finish Chapter 7 tonight. Might though. I'm not sure.

Chapter 6
“The . . . leader?” I repeated, shocked.
He nodded. “Yes. I understand that your town has perished and you have nowhere else to live. I will allow you to stay until we find you a new home.”
“A . . . . New home?” I asked, surprised.
“If you stay with us, then you’re only going to be in danger. I’ve already seen enough humans in my lifetime perish because of us. I don’t want the same thing to happen to you, Miss. Hikari.”
“Alright. I understand.” I replied, a little sad. Wait . . . . A little sad? Don’t tell me that I’m becoming attached to them. Tch. Damn.
“s**t! You’re back!?” a voice nearly screamed.
I looked behind me to see Ein standing there, scratching his head.
“Tell me, Ein. I’m very curious. You hate humans and yet you attended a human school and have allowed her to stay here. Why is that?”
“Fine, Fine! I’ll answer you! The reason why attended that damn human school is because I sensed there was someone in the town that was planning to destroy it. So I decided to stick with Hikaru since he knew that town better then I. And the reason I’m letting her stay here is so that she can help clean the house and do all the trivial chores.”
“What!?” I half screamed at him.
“Shut up will ya, girl?”
“It’s Aerean! How many times do I have to say it until it fits into your damn little head!? I call you by your first name, Ein!
“I can call you whatever you like!”
“Miss. Hikari.”
I turned to Hayate who called my name. “What is it?”
“Please come to my room tonight.”
“E-Eh?”
“I need to speak with you privately tonight is all.” He turned and left.
I stood there, dumbfounded.
Hikaru laughed. “I’ll take you to his room tonight, Aerean-Chan.”
I nodded. “Thanks.”
”Aerean!!!” Nya shouted happily as he pounced on me. “Can I ask you more questions? This time can we start from the beginning?”
“20 questions again?” I laughed. “Sure!”
“Alright! Come one, let’s go over to the game room.”

“Okay! The beginning then! Let’s start!” Nya said, excitedly.
Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE in the game room. Ichiro and Hikaru were playing pool. Haruka and Devarion were playing video games. Hah! Little kids at heart! Makoto, Ein, and Hayate were just watching t.v.
“Are you still not going to tell me your real name?” Nya asked.
I shook my head. “I swore to myself that I will not speak my biological name ever again.”
Nya nodded. “How old are you?”
“16”
“What are your favorite colors?”
“Black, White, Silver, gray, blue, red, and purple.”
“What’s your least favorite color?”
“Pink.”
“Hah! That’s weird. Most girls just LOVE the color pink!” Haruka said with a grin on his face.
“Shut up! I hate pink! Pink can go to hell!”
“Okay, Okay, Aerean! Next question! What’s your birth date?”
“Are you planning to throw a birthday party for me?”
“No! Of course not!”
Liar. “October 28, 1994.”
“How tall are you?”
“Last time I checked I was 5’6.”
“What’s your favorite fruits or veggies?”
“Strawberries.” Everyone then looked at me.
“What?”
They all turned back to what they were doing.
“What do you like to do for fun?”
“Hmm. . . . let’s see. I like to read an awesome good book, sketch some pictures, writing stories, sing, taking walks on nice cool days, and playing piano and other musical instruments.”
“Wow! You like music?”
I smiled and nodded. “Of course. Why else would I have an I-pod?’
Nya laughed. “You’re right. You said you like to sketch. What kind of things do you like to sketch?”
“Well, I like to sketch people and beautiful sceneries.”
Nya nodded. “You also said singing . . . .?”
Everyone turned to look again.
I ignored them.
“Yeah. I like to sing; not in front of people though! I get stage fright. But sometimes I can be all out. I usually sing in front of friends I’ve known for a long time or with friends that love to sing like me. I also sing when I’m alone.”
“I would love to hear you sing! What kind of songs do you like to listen to?”
“Hmm. . . . . I would basically listen to any song that sounds good to me. But I mostly listen to rock, metal, gothic-metal, and Japanese Pop.”
“Cool! Can you list some songs or bands that you like to listen to everyday that falls into all those categories, including Japanese Pop?” he asked excitedly.
I nodded. “Let’s see . . . . . There’s Linkin Park. The songs I love to listen from them are In The End, What I’ve Done, Numb Techno Remix, With You Reanimated Remix, Runaway, Leave Out All the Rest, One Step Closer, and Papercut. Dirty Little Secret and It Ends Tonight by All American Rejects, Whispers in the Dark, Savior, Falling in the Black, Rebirth, and The Last Night by Skillet, What Have You Done, Angels, and Forgiven by Within Temptation, Sharada and Rebel Girl by Skye Sweentam, The Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin, Chop Suey by System of a Down, Iris by the GooGoo Dolls, I especially love Disturbed, Three Days Grace, High and Mighty Color which is a Japanese band, Evanescence, Brightdown and Reason by Nami Tamaki, Sora Iro Days by Nakagawa Shouko, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni by the Anime which is also called that, oh and Last Resort and Getting Away with Murder by Papa Roach.”
Nya stared at me dumbfounded. I looked over Nya to see them also staring dumbfounded.
Then, Nya grabbed my shoulders and hovered over me, his ears twitching. “Ge-Getting Away with Murder!?”
“What!? That song’s awesome. It always helps calm me down when I’m pissed off. It also cures my temptation to murder someone.”
“Temptation to Murder?” Devarion asked.
I nodded and pushed Nya gently off me. I sat up. “My biological family pissed me off so much that I had urge’s to kill them. Just like Getting Away with Murder cured my temptation for killing, there’s always a song that would tempt me to want to go insane and kill even without me being pissed off.”
“A-And what song is that, Aerean-Chan?” Hikaru asked, concerned.
I looked up at all of them, meeting their eyes. “Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.”
I pulled out my I-pod and put the song on. I lied down and closed my eyes, listening to the song.
Makoto reacted and was at my side in an instant. He pulled one earphone from my eye and listen to what the song was like.
(As all of you know, the Aerean in this story is based off of me. So yup. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni does give me urges to kill. The song is addicting. It’s on my Gaia profile, the first on my playlist)
Makoto put the earphone gently next to my ear that he pulled it from. “The song kind of scares me a bit.”
I smiled evilly. “Oh? This song can drive me crazy but it’s very addicting.”
Silence . . .
“Oh. Now it’s Getting Away with Murder.”
Makoto leaned in again to listen to the song.
“You’re crazy, Aerean!” Nya exclaimed.
“Call me crazy cause I am.” I replied.
Nya stared at me.
“Haha! Curiosity killed the cat!” Ein said with a grin on his face.
“Hey!”
“But satisfaction brought it back!” I shot back.
They all looked at me.
I put a hand on Nya’s shoulder. “I got your back, Nya!” I whispered to him, winking.
I stood up and walked out of the room, smiling.

“Here you are, Aerean-Chan.” Hikaru said, as we stopped in front of a wooden door that had a crescent moon carved into it.
I gulped.
“You scared, Aerean-Chan?” I shook my head. “No, not scared. But nervous.” “Oh ?” “Well yeah! It’s not like everyday I have to talk with the leader of a group of SuperNatural Creatures. Um, since he’s the leader, does that mean he’s the strongest?” “Yes. But there’s also Ein. His powers are tied with Hayate.” “Are you serious?” Hikaru laughed. “Good luck.” Then he walked off.
I turned back to the door. I inhaled then exhaled. I raised my right hand and knocked.
“Come in.”
Everything is going to be all right. “I grabbed the doorknob, twisted it to the right, opened the door, and stepped inside his room, closing the door behind me.
