I'm not looking forward to the end of my summer. School has never been good to me, and though I'm going to walk into that great brick monstrosity on August 25th with my head raised and a new outlook on everything, I'm not looking forward to the opportunity. I've procrastinated on my projects, which I'm gonna start today, and I have made many foes. I have a plethera of people who look down on me, even some of my "friends". Thank God that after this year, I will leave behind all those torturous beings, even though I will fight their criticism, tooth and nail, I do not fancy struggling all my life to make know who I am and where I am headed, though I will if I must. To all those who may hold a grudge against me, I have have cut all those ties and shall hinder no one, for it only hinders myself. So, I have spoken my peace on that account.
My summer has been the best I've had, though. Went to Warped Tour and saw As I Lay Dying and The Devil Wears Prada. Got to hang with friends a lot, though some of them have been real asses. My guitar skills have risen off the charts, and I've been working my a** off on my vocals. My "band" has fallen apart, but I have some new hopeful who may breathe life back into a dying dream.
So, on the whole, I 've changed. Music is my number one priority, with academics right behind. Anything social is inane, for we only live for a while, and as long as we keep true to ourselves and live life with a level head, the afterlife will reward us well. Life is only a test, and I'm trying to keep myself from failing. My favorite quote of right now is that, "The universe tends to unfold as it should." So, even though I have become a very dark individual, I will always hold to living with honor and hope and spit in the face of fear and regret.
