Firestorm of malevolence and decay,
It bleeds upon its own hypocrisy,
Questions still linger without answers,
Hearts were worn now torn from sleeves,
The passing light of God dissipates,
Bitter hatred now left to rule,
All the tears ran dry and the sorrow now to fade,
Your human nature crushes the earth like a foul demonic plague,
An oracle of light, a bringer of joy,
Only a brief delusion,
For in victory comes a price,
Of crushing defeats left to follow,
The brutal tide of reverence in mockery,
Feeds only another soul's burning hate,
The past hopes and dreams were had,
And now dominate with violent retribution,
How could we not see this?
How could you be so blind?
Accusations become severance,
Love subtly to hate,
Do not wave that laughing finger,
Or flash your haughty eyes,
In all beauty is atrocity,
A vanity you cling to keep,
As cities burn and statues fall,
You look around amongst you,
What was pride and joy, peace of mind,
Crumbles and shall confuse you,
How can man trust another,
Or believe a glimpsing smile,
When time has taught for naught to follow,
And all he loved is now forgone.
