The subject says it all! I now have my own laptop. It's slightly used but still in great shape. It's an Apple iBook G4 which means I am running Mac OS X. But that won't stop me from bringing you all the stuff I find on the web for Windows... it will just mean I won't be able to test out a lot of the stuff. Some of it I might be able to at school but most of it will be based on research. This means it will be lacking opinions on user friendliness but I think I can figure it out.
Why not test it on my PC? Well, because I am 18 now. And those of you who know me, know about my dad. Well, I moved away on my birthday, have yet to regret it, and my dad won't give me my computer. I call weekly trying to get it from him but he keeps delaying it with excuses. His most used one is that he promised me a new hard drive for Christmas (seeing as he fried my last one) and he has yet to buy it. I keep trying to tell him that I am fine with the 40GB one until he gets me the 250GB hard drive that he promised. I can have the computer and he can buy the hard drive and give it to me separately so that I can install it myself as he has no computer hardware knowledge and would end up frying the rest of the computer.
But, once I get it back, I have a review on a small bundle of programs I use that look really good together. I used them on my PC and would still be using them if I had them. But for a teaser, click
