Go check your heat exchange valves kids........ Mood: PMS-ish Reason: Well, PMS, and the fact its 30 degrees outside Solution: Umm.......help us? mrgreen sweatdrop xd ......cuz if ya DON'T, you could end up with the city cutting OFF your heat on the coldest day of the season so far. Like they have with me ><!!!!!! It all started with our annual checkup by the a/c man. He went out, checked the a/c components (fine), the unit itself (old but fine), and the gas pipes (also old but okay), and finally, the gas heat exchangers on the pipes. THERES some good news stare As it turned out, our exchangers were cracked, and, BY LAW, you cannot have the gas flowing with them like that. LUCKILY ( rolleyes ) the gas was only being used for one thing. Unfortunately, that thing just so HAPPENS to be our heat (btw we DO have a fireplace, but my dad says we can't use it; for the past 2 seasons we've heard something scurrying in there, so who KNOWS whats dead shudders). So for the next few days, we get to enjoy the heat from our two mildly used, previously rained on space heaters. Oh joy domokun

	Holy crap! That sucks, Kitana! I know how you feel, though. That happened to me last year! It was over some wiring that they thought was heating up enough that it might catch fire. So my uncle in the suburbs invited all of us (except my mom and my grandpa, cuz they had to stay home) to his house. I would've gone, but my cousin decided to plant these bullshit rules saying we basically couldn't do anything except sit around and bore ourselves to death! So I stayed home on my computer, wrapped up in a blanket while I was IMing my girlfriend, Neko. The electricians came at around one-thirty in the morning and as it turns out, the engineers that came earlier messed up the wiring and they rewired everything! By that time, it was like 47 degrees in that house while it was -10 outside!!! The heat was turned back on as soon as they fixed the wiring and I ended up staying up until 6 in the morning! So like I said, I know how you feel, just keep yourself warm and if your gas still works, boil water so that the steam could warm up the kitchen. At least you'll have one room warm!!! You know, those stupid-looking salt-shaker things that kill you with only one shot from their evil death ray? He'd only let them rule long enough so that he can kill them epically, though, then it will be a world of the WOLF WARRIOR!!! OBEY!!!!
