In the darkness I sit
waiting for the pain
so slowly I breathe
knowing it will make me insane

I try not to ponder
on that which is to come
but ever so slowly I breathe
waiting for it all to be done

I look around
at the chamber I'm held captive in
and start to slowly realize
that I'm captive in my own sin

Someone make haste
my enemy is near
quickly help me
because all I feel is fear

In the chains of sin I'm stuck
all by myself, lost in the hunger of despair
hoping someone will rescue me
and put me into their care
