A couple of days ago, I read this book called "I Can't Tell You" (unfortunately, it only took me 3 hours to read
"...when the radio announcer said, 'Ten soldiers have been wounded. Six of them seriously.' I honestly thought she meant they were joking about the 1st 4. As in: but seriously, folks, only 6 were wounded. You believed there were 10? Fooled you! But of course that's not what she meant." -pg 143
I laughed so hard when I read that. xD
). The protagonist would always hear things too literally and make a pun out of almost everything. He called this "the funny". One of my favorite parts involving the funny in that book is this:View User's Journal
