Hey everyone I am back from my brother's Graduation. Even though it was last weekend, but like whatever.
Well the Graduation Ceremonies went pretty well. My bro got a $1000 bersery/scholorship , which no one was really expecting. He was soo stunned when they had called his name. I took tons of photo's and everything. The photo's didn't turn out all that well though becuase of poor lighting, but you can still see him, fairly OK. My parents made me dress up for his Grad. So I ended up wearing a white halter summer dress with pink poke-a-dots. I was hoping that nobody would see me in my dress, but my friends did. It was pretty bad. They were all like "Oh Jessie you look so adorable. You should dress up more often." ICK! No way in hell will I, unless I really half to.
Grad is done and over with, now I'm moving on to my next two big events, well three big events.
The first event is my Tennis Tournament in Nelson!!! I am soo excited. The top 5 girls and boys are going and I'm in the top!! Hopefully it won't rain though becuase Nelson doesn't have a Bubble and plus it has been raining all week! But I like the rain at this point in time. It is getting rid of all the pollen and allergy stuff floating in the air. I don't have allergies all that bad but I know some people that are absolutly suffering from it. LOL! But seriously I am so so siked for this game. Reasons are , I miss fitness and I miss the whole day of school!! YES for that! The tournament is this Tuesday. Me and Meaghan ((my doubles partner)) are going to whip some a**!
On that very same day, the school is holding there annual Academic Awards banguet/ceromonies. I'm on the list for Awards of Excelence , the Honor Roll as Distinction and the Attitude and Effort Roll. So I'm hoping to recieve some sort of reward. I'm such a greedy person. Just kidding.
Speaking of awards, my brother's Annual ((cadet inspection)) was yesterday. It was very boring, but the food was really good. He won at least 15 awards. I started to loose count at 8. My counting skills arent all that great. He did really well I think. I was in cadets, but then I quit becuase they were threatening me. So I left, and I'm glad I left. Shaun on the other hand, Cadets is his life. He only has one more year left so he is going to try to do what he can for the Squadron before he goes to milatary collage.
Anyway, my third big event is of course Relay For Life is happening on the weekend. Relay For Life is a fundraiser for the Canadain Cancer society. This year we have raised a whole hell load of money. I'm the team captain for my team. We picked the most ridicolus name for the team though. It is The Supa Pirate Ninja Bears. At least that what I think it is. Oh well, it is creative. Well it is a 12 hour event, and it runs all night and you have to stay up all night. It is going to be so much fun as well. You also get your ecersize, becuase one person on your team has to be on the track at all times, thus creating the name for Relay For Life. It is a really great event, and I'm a volunteer for it. I'm working at 9-10 and possibly some more hours in the kiddy corner and what not. It should be a major blast.
Well away from all the events. My life has been hectic. One weekend after another there is an event. Me and Jess Grey went down to the Marysville DayZ on the weekend. It was slighlyt boring too, it was really humid though. I was really disapointed becuase hardly any of the hotrods and spiffy cars didn't show up. Turns out that they are all going to Fort Steel, which is only a half hour away but you have to pay around $30 to get in. So there is no point in going. But we had a good time.
I'm listening to Lenny Kravitz -Lady. A song for me to que out becuase I have already talked to much. LOL!
