I've been on the wo-man hunt for tabs in order to try playing songs I know and like.
Hurts my finger tips, and I only learn little bits and pieces of different songs... and the ones I actually memorize are pretty simple, not to mention that the tabs I use are in the standard tuning format..> @_@;
but I'm learning something. X3
Once I pick up on speed a little bit more, and enable myself to switch from fret to fret and string to string accurately (I can, but I do mess up on a regular basis. XD), I'll probably be able to play songs in their entirety (Scratch that, I WILL be able to play songs in their entirety!) instead of picking out my favorite parts and just working on those.
There's a tab out there for Sleepwalk. MUCH love.... but it makes me suspect that one or two of my strings are slightly out of tune, and that annoys me to no end. >_<
Actually, it's likely that they're all way out of tune, but the only way that I personally can get them tuned is by matching them up note for note by using my recorder. >_<
Ugh...
At least the tab for Sleepwalk that I found was fairly accurate overall (I like to adlib certain notes because I swear this person would get a few one half note wrong. @_@) and is a joy for me to play for the most part. n_n
