I do like the script somewhat. It goes along the lines of the manga scripts. Could be better, but it's not bad. The look it pretty nice untill you get to the characters. The one thing I absolutely do not like of the characters is the hair. At this point, hair for 3-D animated projects is decent. Here, it looks like noodles. Big, ugly noodles glued onto their heads.

They could have done better to just make the hair big solid shapes. It's like drawing hair. If you draw hair, it looks a hell of a lot better to have the hair shape and hints of what it is at the roots and maybe the tips with additional short lines as opposed to drawing it strand by strand, one pencil stroke per piece of hair.

If I had stayed in my animation classes, this is what I'd be doing for hair for humans: making them shapes.


As for the voices... They weren't too bad, except Vladimere's VA is horrible. He can't act. It was grating to hear this guy.

I'm still curious enough to wait for parts 2 and 3, since, well, it's still Gaia's plot and will lead into Halloween. Plus, I still want to find out what's happened to Gino and Liam and this may just be the only way to find out.
