Man, this latest manga plot update is going to drive me crazy.... If the next update somehow manages to include LabTechX, I'll probably faint.
The story is much darker, which I really like. Bad things are about to go down.
The immediate issue... Gino and Liam are in trouble. Gino realizes he's met these girls before. He may not remember them grabbing him before, but he remembers them enough to want to get out of there. Liam... oblivious. He won't be for long.
Here are my thoughts on the matter... they want Gino. This is clear. But it could be for different reasons. The simple reason is revenge. They want revenge for having a house dropped on them, so, they opt to grab Gino again and possibly do harm to him because they can't reach Johny K. directly.
The next possible reason I could think of is that they're after Gino in an attempt by the family(The Von Helsons as a whole) to trade for Ian. We know they want him. Zhvago does for sure, and by the looks of things, he's still servant to someone. Possibly Vladimir, who may very well be alive if he's a vampire and not dead like previously thought.
Either way, Laim's either facing either serious harm or going to be turned into a vampire himself. Ooh...
I really want to see what's in store for those two.
Meanwhile... theory on the Von Helson sisters...
I think it's quite possible the sisters were not turned untill someone had resurected them, reassembling them if need be. Maybe they were a little bit, but they needed to be killed first. I wonder, though, about how they're not included in the flashback. Do they have a different mother? Were they too damaged to take? Were they in a seperate room and this unnamed mother of the Von Helson brothers didn't think there was enough time to grab them to run, too?
Well... there goes the whole Ian and Liam are long lost brothers thing. Well... unless Liam is slightly older and was ferried out earlier... or they could be half-brothers, in which case, Liam's original comment from when he first appeared as a shopkeeper(it's still there),"Ian? Never heard of him." would make more sense. Actually... either would work for him saying that since, if he had been ferried out first, he would have known him as Damian. Or I could be reading too deep. edit: or he could have run ahead. That's always possible.
Hmm... I wonder what the upcoming animated plot will contain. Will it be a continuation of this one, or some backstory?
Oh, and hey, what about back during the trial when Rufus was talking about how talking cats have been with Ian's family for ages... my guess is Ian's adoptive family has had talking cats.
I really hope they go back to make sure things cohere correctly. Small details can screw things up if you forget them... especially if you intend to do various sideplots and whatnot. *has a few of these she wishes would happen*
And that's all I got. I wonder what their voices will sound like... or if they're going to have voices at all...
