Crawling into the darkness

Like a mole would

Stays underground all day

Only to appear out in the darkness

Where only other creatures of the

Night can see me

But runs away as soon as danger comes around



You've pulled me out of that

Gruesome place dark and what

I thought kept me hidden and "safe"



Now I'm out in the

Red sky with softer red clouds

Everything is red

Except for you and I



I thought I was never going

To come out of that

Gruesome place dark and "safe"

Now I know where I'm safe



In your strong arms loving and tender

Never wanting to let go

Always welcoming me back with those

Loving arms



You've taught me to stand up

And not to runaway

To stay and take whatevers coming



Crawling into the darkness
