ARGH!!!!!!!!! xp xp
My legs are KILLING me!!! When I joined ROTC, they weren't kidding when they said I didn't know what I was getting into. Man, the stretches are OK but the running is hell on earth. First, it was 2 laps around the track and the second was 1/2 around the school. Considering I haven't exercised in 3 months, it was less than a breeze.
I git home, put VICKS on my knees and thighs and hit the bed so hard, I knocked myself out. I got my uniform and it looks OK but I might have to smash a few faces in to get people to shut up. Well, I don't care anymore. I'm too pooped to care what they say.
I'm staying OUT of relatonships and I'm trying not to make any commintments to anyone but myself. And speaking of commitments...
I think I might join the color guard, which is one of the drill teams. It's the simplest actually but it beats the "pain of the armed" which leaves scars on your hands and "the pain of the unarmed" which leaves scars on your palms. And personally, representng the flag seems awesome. It'll give me a reason to go to football games, right?
My summer learning hours at the library are over. FINALLY! I was getting tired of it actually. My calendar for September so far?
wednesday 5-get nametag, turn in service hours, turn in book report
thursday 6-get to school @ 6:30 for drill team meeting
friday-dress in uniform, survive
