Hiya

I'm doing pretty well, you know. The trauma of being short stare and losing my...b-bir... *sobs uncontrollably* has settled in.

In the past 2 months, there have been 3 car accidents in front of my dad's liquor store. I witnessed the first one and our neighbor was a clsoe friend of the victim, a breast cancer survivor. Tonight, my dad saw the latest accident which is a bummer because he saw the last one too.

I got some of my stuff for school and am debating on whether to brng it all on the first day of school. My new school is different from my lats so I'm wary of everything. At least I know enough people to survive the first few days, right? I'm getting a little scared when I think of ROTC though. I'm small so I hope they'll be a little lenient.

I miss my friends more than ever after watching First Day High, this Filipino movie. Man, it reminded me a lot of me and my peoples. You know, I think I wrecked a friendship this summer. I don't think I typed it in my journal though...

Well, Josh popped the big question: Will you go out with me? (ha, ha. i know what YOU were thinking). Then, popped the three words: I love you. Then, after I told him that I just want to be friends, he made me guilty by being all like, "I just thought I could open up to you" and "I can make you happier than K.Waio ever did" and "I would never break your heart" and "I'm disappointed by I still care about you alot". Well...I thought that was finished right.

Then in early to mid-July, he called me again and invited me to go to the LA County Fair with CJ and his gf and him. Of course, I learned later that my dad's court date was that weekend so of course, i had to cancel. But the thing is, I never called him back and then I lost his number. When I finally found it, last week, I was too chicken to call and apologize.

So now, I think he may be pissed off at me but I'm not really sure. I don't want to find out because last time we fought, I ended up crying and hanging up on him because he called me a "naive daydreamer that doesn't seem to see the reality of the world". Puh-lease, if anyone knows REALITY and THE REAL WORLD, it's me, ok? My 'rents are rich or sophisticated and I've been though some really bad times so I know what it's like to be underprivileged and alone, k? If anyone's blinded, it's HIM because of he's never seen the real world. It's scary, babe, so I'd be careful what you say. Someone might jump your a**.

In other news, my aunt is going back to the Philippines. Her husband was deported and now she's willingly going back there. We tried to dissuade her but she's stubborn. She's been in America for 20 years and she's not used to it anymore. But she insists so we're letting her go. That lady...*sigh*

I'm watching Paano Kita Iibigin for the second time. I watched First Day High and Hey Babe and Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang? We breaked to watch a little bit of Wowwee, Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?, Walang Kapalit and Ysabella. We're officially obsessed with TFC, Kapamilya and all the other Filipino channels. This will severely affect my English classes...

LOL. But I'll survive. I got the new Harry Potter book a few weeks ago but I have no time to read it. Between laundry and dishes and shopping for school and helping at the store and helping my aunt pack and my library job, time is very tight.
