Cynthia Artemis, archer goddess
Protector of young animals and maidens
The wild chase of the hunt is your happiness
Forever exploring Greece's mountains, forests, and glens
Phoebe Artemis, daughter of Zeus
Queen of the night and inheritor of Selene's silver orb
While on Olympus rests your brother Phoebus
You bring light and hope to the globe
Artemis, forever chaste and pure
Goddess of childbirth who delivered her twin
Any sickness you can cure
Your silver arrows bring death to those who sin
Yes, she and her twin have many epithets/forms. Yes, she is the goddess of contradiction, light, healing, dancing, hunting, the moon, young women, animals and chastity. That's why I like her. Yes, I know that orb does not exactly rhyme with globe. Yes, I made this poem myself. DO NOT STEAL IT!!!
