Tabina was sitting on the bench waiting for something, or nothing, to happen. So her dad gave up on her just because he couldn’t deal with it? He couldn’t have just taken a different way? He could’ve left on a vacation while she stayed with a family friend again, or tried talking it out with someone. “But no,” she said quietly staring at the floor, fists clench on her lap. “He didn’t want me any more just because I look like Mom…He didn’t even like me,” she said feeling a sting behind her eyes. That was pretty bad if a seven-year-old could tell that her own father never really saw his own daughter as his daughter… Wiping her eyes and cheeks with the back of her arm, she slammed the paper down on the sidewalk and angrily stood from the bench, taking what little possessions she carried in the bag and storming off.

(Poor Tabina… Ignore the kitty)
That night, she went to the abandoned house she had been staying at for the past few days. She noticed that she was running low on food… But she didn’t have any money. She ransacked the house to look for any left over money, jewelry, anything that could serve of great use. Finding nothing, she made a choice… A bit off the top, but it was the only thing that came to mind for the moment.
Leaving all the belongings on the bed, she made her out the door to the market. With it being so late at night, the store was empty. She found an open window, looked both ways to make sure no one was around, and crawled inside. Quickly she made her way around taking whatever was needed and even made a quick stop to the register up front. That night was the night she started her thieving career.
To keep herself from getting caught, Tabina would dye her hair right before making a steal. With the different shade of brown, another style of clothing along with some other changes, she was sure never to get caught. Just to feel a little better about it, she even gave herself a nickname: Lieanna.

(Tabina the thief, also known as Lieanna)
Never had she told anyone about Lieanna or the measurements taken to become a thief. All she ever told anyone in the Mafia was that she was a thief. No Lieanna, no hair change; Nothing was mentioned in detail. This was her little secret… Something that would keep her secure about that.
As they years progressed, so did the amount of pressure it was to be Lieanna. Some towns actually caught tales of thievery made by her… She never planned to actually get known! Each time she caught of Lieanna getting too big, she moved to another town or city, starting out with petty crimes and building up again. No one ever suspected her a thief... Her attitude, the way she dressed, even the way she looked was anti-thief. Even though she often wondered why she couldn't stop stealing, she never really stopped all together. The money she took from pick-pocketing and pawning things off could be used for weeks on end. She tried living like a normal person... It never worked. Whenever she looked into the mirror, she saw Tabina, but a hint of Lieanna was always under the solid complexion.
