This is my fifth poem, which is dedicated to a wonderful princess, I hope you like it. :d
I'm standing on the corner, the rain pouring down on me
Two roads One short, the other long Both looking hard Both with their own obstacles
As I look down the short road I see a crowd Faceless people which seems too busy to notice Too busy to see what's inside
I then look down the long road The road itself look bumpy, with detours and not very pleasant at all But in the this crowd of faceless people I notice a face That face!
It's smiling, filling me with warmth and hope
The rain continues to pour down Which way to take? Short or long?
I take another look at the long road Then close my eyes and in the core of my heart a picture appears That smile, that face
I walk slowly, led only by the beating in my bossom Where does it want to take me?
I fall several times from the bumps and holes in the road I'm okay, I am still able to continue
My chest feels warmer and warmer by each step forward My heart overflowing
I feel fatigued I hurt a little here and there But I do not feel lost
I feel that something is stoping me I slowly open my eyes, trying to adjust to the light
There she is, looking up at me with that smile of hers. Shining brighter than any star
Who found who?
