The flames engulf
My aching heart
As I run in to save you.

The smoke is choking me.
The ashes flying around me.
But my only thought is of saving you.

I ignore my own pain
And try to rescue you
From the flames.

The hatred of others
The hatred of yourself
And the hatred of me.

But I don’t care
If you hate me,
I will save you no matter what.

I need you
As much as you need me.
And so I save you.

I would die for you,
I would kill in order for you to live
Would you do the same?
