The small atelier was getting crowdy as the chicks grew in numbers. Eiirisa thought its best to renovate her house and make it more bigger. At least her feather friends would have less chances of getting squished by an unsuspecting customer. Her shop's incomes were good but she needed more and fast. Not only she need to accomodate her pets, she needed to keep them well fed too.
So off she went to the towns with Mimzy and Meat. Meat was the water meat Eiirisa happened to fish from Bass'ken Lake. He told her his previous master accidentally dropped him in the lake and never saved him. Poor guy, so thats why she took him in. Actually, she didnt have to take him along but she knew he would raid the fridge if she left him at home. So off they went into the towns, searching for methods to get fast money.
"Look a contest!" Mimzy pointed when she spotted a thread. "50k 1st, 30k 2nd & 10k 3rd!"
"Good," Eiirisa subscribed to it. "Look out for more of it. We'll take chances."
"Lets just go home~," Meat mumbled. "I'm starving."
"There's nothing in the fridge," she lied. "We'll look for more threads like this then maybe we can stop for ice-cream." And Meat couldnt agree more.
At the end of the day, when they got enough threads and decided to return home, a monkey fell down from a tree in a thud. It squealed in pain as it dusted it's body frantically. Eiirisa got to it in a dash. "Are you okay?" she asked.
"Killer ants! Save me!"
Before they knew, armies of ants came rushing down from the tree and without further a do, Eiirisa grabbed the monkey and dashed for home. She never knew there were ants in Gaia, and luckily there werent any bees too. She was scared of bees and nothing can be more scarier than that, but the way the monkey screamed made it seem ants were deadlier.
"Why were they chasing you?" she asked when they reached home.
"It... it was an accident! I swear!" he said. "I... I squished on their nest..."
Oh, great, she thought. "You're welcome here but just dont squish on my chicks. They're all on the floor."
"Not a problem!" he jumped up and down excitedly. "IS there anything else i can do to repay you for saving my tail?"
"Well, i kinda run a shop," she replied. "Just help me with business. Mimzy can show you around. Right, Mimzy?"
"Sure thing!" Mimzy smiled welcomingly. "As you can see, this is our counter..."
"Hey, a cash register!" the monkey jumped up to check it out. He was pushing all buttons and the machine chimed as he found his way with it. "Lemme help with this. I can be a cashier!"
"Dont let monkeys handle your cash," Meat whispered to Eiirisa.
"And dont let water meats handle your fridge," she whispered back and turned to the monkey. "That's not a problem if you're good with maths, uh..."
"The name's Momo!" he saluted. "At your service!"
"Welcome aboard, Momo."
