-
You spun us in your web of lies
and tried to keep it from us.
You try to explain your way out of it.
All we do is discuss.
You took our friendship for granted
and now you've lost it forever.
Do you have any idea what you've done?
You're really not that clever.
You ask if there something you can do
to make up for what you've done.
The answer for me is no.
The betrayal can't be undone.
You're trying to play the victim
in all of the lies you've told.
It's something none of us are buying.
How could you be so bold?
You keep saying you're sorry,
it's something we don't believe.
How can we possibly trust you again
when all you do is deceive?
You lied, betrayed, and used us
It's something we will never forget.
I hope you realize what you've done,
because we still see you as a threat.

- Title: Web of Lies
- Artist: CSIBeauty
- Description: Web of Lies is a poem I wrote after a friend of mine and other friends went behind our back and started telling lies. She pretended to be someone she was not and in the end hurt all of us. I wrote this poem at the time to express how I felt about it. This was written 2 years ago.
