The water glistens under the watchful moon
As though all of the skys' stars fell down
to kiss the ocean

My mind is put at ease
as slowly as everything
around me cools

I would stay here
forever peaceful
forever clear-minded
forever hopeful
forever loved

My feet are licked
by the waves
As my hair is brushed
by the wind

Every moment should be
this simple
this enjoyable
this amazing
this beautiful

But the night
doesn't last forever
and dreams can only
be visited breifly

I don't want to leave!
I don't want to go!
Not yet!

let me stay
let my thoughts and cares
be carried away by the water

I just want to be hugged
by the sand
And stay here
on the
Shore of Dreams
