Location: Kalahari Waterpark, Sandusky, OH
Date: June 4-7, 2009
Our Cosplays: Mandy- light blue and white lolita dress
Laura- Black and Red lolita dress
Gaming: Large game room with games like Rockband, DDR, Super Smash Bros(and other fighting games), and a DJing game(that we both failed at). Playing Rockband on stage was amazing. As far as table games go, "Are You a Werewolf?" was the best.
Dealers Room: Huge Dealers Room with a convenient setup(a row of dealers all along the wall and another group in the center). It was crowded all the time. Everything you could possible want, from plushies to swords.
Artist Alley: Located in a hallway near the Dealers Room. A wide variety of art styles was available. Laura was particularly fond of the person doing "Draw Your Face" for $1. On the downside, one artist was extremely rude to us, actually insulting our dresses.
Purchases: Mandy bought a replica of Edward Elric's watch, a black face mask with a white butterfly on it, and a Kyo Sohma plushie.
Laura bought a katana, an "I ♥ Yaoi" tank top, a black face mask with a red X on it, and a Fullmetal Alchemist poster.
Food: We brought food because it was too expensive ($3 for a bagel?!). On Sunday, we did get a chance to buy Pocky(mandy got Mikan and Laura got Strawberry). It was delicious as always.
Staff: They were very courteous and kept the con running smoothly. The security people were especially awesome(especially the one with the air cannon, and the one wearing the clone helmet). Also, when we asked to dance in some obscure corner, they asked us to entertain artist alley! Yay!
Events:
Ouran High School Host Club Panel- Aaron and Travis are hilarious when they host a panel together. It was amazing, but a good portion of the panel was spent talking about Aaron's cake(see notes below).
Last Chance Q&A- Almost all of the guests attended to answer all of our questions. It was a load of fun and we sat in front row seats!
Autograph Signings- The first was was just to get Aaron's signature. We got pictures, Laura got her Alphonse hat signed, and Laura gave Aaron his cake(Again, see below). We were at the front of the line. The second signing was before the Last chance Q&A. The line was soooo long, but we got almost everybody's signatures.(Mandy didn't get Vic's bacause he had to leave D-: )
Most Notable Cosplays: Vincent from Final Fantasy- awesome arm
Ahhh, so many Edward Elrics!!!

Special Laura "Aaron Stalking" Section: At this con, Laura gave Aaron Dismuke a homemade cake with her phone number and the words "Call Me" on it. He loved it! (She has a super secret plan for next year, already)
