Roses are blue
violets are red?
i cant think straight
but i have to write a poem
to show you that i care
my head's screwed up
it feels like im choking
on words im afraid to tell you
i hope that you can forgive me
i didnt write you that song you wanted
or the poem
roses are red..
violets are......damn!
i hope you can take me as i am
for all i have is what you see

The times you held me
I felt like the world would melt
your voice seemed sweet and loving
now my touch is cold
your voice is but a fading wisper
the world is hard and confusing
and i can no longer feel your warmth
i still say your name, in the darkness
hoping you'll say my name back
but your no longer here
my tears have dried
but the wounds are still there
and one day theyll heal
but for now
ill say your name in the darkness
and remember the warmth you gave
