Epic- Heroes fall
A man in shining amour Not a man no more Fallen from his stead To get up once more to fallow in his footsteps. To bring the sword from its stone. To carry it into battle for Freedom And His home Charging with a battle cry! Excalibur held high The one called Arthur will not pass you by Though the castles have fallen and the stone is no more The champion who has fallen Has risen once more Castles made of sand and homes made of brick. The horse is now a Mustang with an automatic stick His life is a new one, but his is still there. The spirit of Arthur and his loving Guinevere
Elegy- Lost to the ocean
Singing my sweet lullaby As the waves leap high A window to his world and mine Our sorrow by and by Leaving me with only the sky As you go sailing by Off to some world unlike mine Losing you to the tide Now I sit here sighing high Above the waves and below the sky The windows depict my sigh as I sing the widows lullaby
