Traffic lights flicker on and off
The ocean tides begin to rise than fall
Is there a true reality?
Or just all simply desired make believe?
If I dream hard enough
Will my heart still hurt?
For their only mere fantasies

Why do I mistake these delusions?
Why do I suddenly stop breathing?

As I fail to resist letting go of everything

Clinging to me like my faults
Committing to me what I never earned
