Ya know, I used to enter journals pretty often but I got two comments on my first journal and that was it. The comments were from one of my daughters and my good friend Sukie and that was it...no one else. It stinks cuz I know some people read my entries they just never comment and that really stinks cry
Oh well, I'll make this entry and see if anyone comments...if I get a comment I'll keep entering in my journal, if not...meh rolleyes
To those that read my journal, thank you...but PLEASE comment...I promise I'll comment on yours hehe mrgreen

Well, the new job is going well...or at least I think it is LOL Other than that, not much else has been happening. I did see Troy recently. I have to tell you, I can't imagine WHY Jennifer Aniston would willingly divorce Brad Pitt. Have you seen him in that movie? DAAAAAMMMMNNNN!!! He is one fine specimen.
Okay, that's all I have to say for now. I'm not in a chatty (or is that typey?) mood.

Well, I had my interview on Monday...actually I had to reschedule. On Tuesday I got a call for a different job...a BETTER job. I met with the woman and I was hired for a three month assignment. I like temp jobs because if I don't like it, I can walk away (once the agency sends out a replacement). The downside is no benefits sad I hate that part but oh well.
I started work on Wednesday. It's a great job, I'm filling in for a girl going on maturnity leave. Today was her last day, that means Monday I'm on my own with only three days of training. It was more like a half day of training. She showed some things, I took notes and by lunch time I was on my own <sigh>
I'm taking the bus to work and having to walk about a mile every day, after being home since November, my feet are sore sad The upside of the sore feet is that I'll get to lose even more weight xd WOO HOO It's a good thing I've been using the Total Gym, that machine got me through these last three days LOL (I love ya Chuck Norris)
So that's my new news. I started a new job. I get my first check next week...that means I get to give a donation and get my thank you letter blaugh
Ah the simple things in life that bring a smile to my face biggrin

Well, today is Sunday and I have an interview tomorrow. I don't really want to go but I guess I have to <sigh> I've been home with the kids since November and I love it. Going back to works means not seeing them as much and I hate that.
Plus if I go back to work that means I don't get to be online as much...how awful! wink
Well, I honestly have nothing else to say. I guess I'll end this now.

I love the weekend! I'm probably going to be working again very soon so I need to enjoy each day off until then <sigh>
I wish real life was as fun as Gaia life smile I opened up a store in the Marketplace recently and I have to tell ya...I LOVE it LOL It's so much fun to sell things I'm tired of using and probably haven't used for awhile. It's great that people want these items. I learned a hard lesson though. My first few items sold are REALLY low prices. I wish I'd checked how to use the Marketplace before I actually sold something LMAO I guess I'm a dork.
Okay, I was a dork, now I know wink

We just got our cable modem and we are SO psyched!!! I can't believe how fast it is! We've had dial up forever and it was soooooo slooooooow. Everything would take forever to load and most times would timeout because it was so dang slow. Thank the heavens for high speed access LOL Being on Gaia is way more fun when you can actually see everything and actually be able to buy things and send PM's. Life is good <sigh>
Other than that nothing else is new. It's Friday so that's a wonderful thing, time to chill out with husband and kids...it's awesome.

Well I had an interesting night. My sister got four tickets to see Jimmy Buffet (they were free) so she decided to take me and my hubby and our sister in law to the concert.
Now, I'm pretty old by Gaia standards but I had NO CLUE that Jimmy Buffet was SO DANG POPULAR!!! The concert was insane! There were drunks every where! People falling and dancing and falling some more, it was a great show.
Well, to be honest...we didn't stay till the end. We left at intermission because everyone was so drunk we were afraid what leaving the Arrowhead Pond would be like with thousands of drunks around you.
I can tell you with no hesitation that I enjoyed the show and had a good time smile
