I keep wishing it could be that way... |

... because my world would be a Wonderland.
I have found the best way to use this journal. Ever.
A music journal. Of course it couldn't come to me SIMPLY, now could it? Never. After letting this poor dear rot for heaven know's how long, I've decided what to do. Oh, well.
So let's introduce ourselves! I'm Kyraa, your music connoisseur (and dictionary.com user, clearly.) I'm a senior, intend to major in music education or music therapy. I can't decide which, because both have positive and negative results. (if you have any input on that? I'd love you.)
Aaanyway, these are the sites I use to find my music. You can't download music from them without the artist's consent, so they're certainly not "illegal" or anything. They just make it easier to access music so you can actually get a taste of it.
radioblogclub.com is a website you can make a playlist with. I happen to adore this website, because it's just so massive. They have the most obscure of artists in addition to the most common.
pandora.com is much the same, but I haven't used that one as much, and I can't get a good feel on it. it's good to find "like" bands to a band you enjoy already, but it isn't a good "go look up random band" website.
purevolume.com is a website I heard of from a person in Gaia's indie forum. I looked into it, and they have so many amazing artists that you wouldn't have heard of before. They do have a lot of fledgling bands, but that's a good compliment to the other two, because everyone needs publicity. They also provide some lyrics, which is nice. This site is run by the *artists,* not by the fans, from what I have seen thus far.
So far as lyrics go, lyricsdir.com, songmeanings.net, and lyricscafe.com are good enough for me. animelyrics.com for j/kpop or.. well, let's face it. I still do listen to the Noir OSTs. They're too awesome for me to let go. Don't judge me! ;o;
Ooo. Starting a journal up finally is so refreshing. This is Kyraa, signing off. Much love!

So, I completely forgot I had a journal. xd
I will keep random gaia events logged on here, I suppose.
So far as the Anniversary Party is going:
I've made enough gold to cover what I need to, I believe. :3 I will make the story contest thread tomorrow. I will make the the avie contest this Saturday. I'm leaving Icy in charge of her idea, because she knows it better than I.
Ummmm. Not much else. :3 Secret gold prize at a random interval, a little doodle to the poster of every 5 or 10 pages (depending on how fast they post that day.)
Count Down? The anniversary is in 1 week. The 28th.

Mi sempre rammenta.
Personally, I... eh.
Aaaanywho, I wanted to tell you that I've gotten an art store, if you haven't heard about it already. If I don't cycle old commissions to this journal, then I'll keep it for my thoughts on Gaia. I already have a livejournal, so there's no reason to have another one, but I won't say goodbye to this journal just because of a thread (not that I believe that word actually has any meaning anyway.)
So.. uh. Yeah. If you were wondering, that's it :3 HIt me back on whether or not I should filter older commissions on my journal or not, though. Your opinions mean something, because you care enough to let me ask for them <3
