I have seen the path of light
Been through the chaos of dark
Taken my anger and strife to this final fight
Hearing the hound of death, and it's mighty bark
With the world at my heels
And the wind in my hair
I face the world and all of it's crooked deals
To face death's fearsome stare
I have seen the beginning of the end
Seen the people gathering to pray for life
The coming storm around the bend
Fate in this world balancing on a steady knife
Man to be it's own demise
Seeing that we cannot let go of our own pride
Our ease to look to another with a glare
Our fate I to this page I confide
A destiny written by our own hand that we must bare
