Inventory Log
April 30th, 2011
Today as I traveled by foot from Rome to Florence, I just so happen to pass by a stopped cargo wagon. It was early in the morning, and I could hear the faint sound of snoring. Taking a peek inside, I saw a Borgia courier curled up on the floor, sleeping like a rock surrounded by locked crates. Had he not been snoring, I would've thought he was dead. I opened the door which gave a loud obnoxious squeak. It stirred him from his sleep and, before he can even utter a cry, I grabbed the closest blunt object-a candle holder- and gave him a loving bash to the side of his skull. Blood spilled from the open wound of the unconscious victim; nevertheless, I took a hold of his scrawny ankles and dragged him out of the carriage, leaving him in a nearby bush. I couldn't do much about the blood staining the wood, but what could I do?
I closed the back door and locked it so it doesn't fling open. climbing up to the drivers seat, sat down on the cushions, and seized the reigns. I glanced back at the carriage and took notice as to how luxurious it was; cushioned seat, polished wood exterior, silk curtains that covered the now closed windows, and comfortable seating for the driver. I smirked at the thought of how many Florins it would be worth. Snapping the reigns, the horses trotted down the dirt trail towards Florence.

Once we arrived, the sun had reached its peak. I steered the horses to the far outskirts of the city until we reached forest surrounding a small village of shacks. These shacks housed the Bandits that allied with the Assassin Order rather than the Templar's. I was greeted warmly by my family as the gawked at the carriage I had obtained. I explained that it was property of the Borgia, and I found a sleeping Courier inside. I intended on selling it so we could pay an architect to build us stable homes rather than the wooden shacks that can barely stand against a slight breeze. The majority of the family agreed, and we looted the cargo inside.

We found seven golden watches, foreign silk gowns, robes and blankets, jewelry of the finest cut, wine and whiskey, food of the greatest quality, exotic perfumes, a feathered mattress and pillow set, and a letter from Cesare Borgia to his father, the Pope. I nearly fainted; in the years I've stolen from Borgia ships and wagons, I have never obtained such luxuries. The family celebrated with the wine, while I celebrated with a fantastic slumber in my attic bedroom with my new mattress, pillows and blankets.
